>> he's -- >> he's paralyzed. >> we are leaving open every possibility in terms of what type of weapon or weapons this might have been. how many shooters there might have been or where the shots were fired from. police say there were more than 100 people inside the $1.6 million home at the time of the shooting. neighbors recall hearing what sounded like fireworks. and then, seeing the crowd run away. >> it was like a thousand to me. i -- i have never seen a crowd like that. >> two other men, ages 20 and 21 were injured. but not from gunfire. in the past, police say the homeowners have rented out their home for parties, like this one. >> we were called to the same location in june for -- similar type incident. >> we went -- quite disturbing actually that something like that -- like that would happen in this neighborhood. >> police are offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest. now police also say there is no indication that drugs or gangs were involved. don, back to you. thank you, andrea. it was friday night in columbia that the tires on 50 cars were slashed in the hickory ridge neighborhood. police say the vandalism was in no way related to the shooting. the baltimore county police officer shot during a domestic dispute has been released from the hospital. police say the veteran officer became involved in a gunmen gun battle when trying to stop a man from beating a woman neighbor. police did shoot and kill the man now identified as he had -- edward voss. the officer has only been identified to us as officer parker opinion. in just a matter of hours a man suspected of killing a johns hopkins university student in a hit-and-run will appear in court. thomas meeghan will face the judge on a separate hit-and-run case that occurred months before miriam franko was killed. they will seek to have his bail revoked so he will stay behind bars. he was out of jail on -- on bond at the time frankel was hit. prosecutors are trying to put him behind the wheel at the time of that hit-and-run. no more warnings. starting today motorists speeding through city school and work zone there automatically receive their fines in the mail. today marks one month since the speed cameras have been put up throughout baltimore city. that means motorists will no longer be receiving warnings. just $40 fines in the mail. motorists will have to be going 12 miles an hour or more above the speed limit to be fined by the cameras. turning to sports, game 4 of the world series is in the books and the new york yankees are now just a game away from winning it all. the game was tied up into the top of the 9th inning when alex rodriguez came up to bat hitting a double to bring in the go-ahead run. yankees scored two more. the final score 7-4 yankees. game 5 is in philadelphia tonight. but of course here, it is the ravens everybody will be talking about as they beat the previously undefeated denver broncos yesterday. here's sports director mark viviano with highlights and reaction. >> reporter: good morning. well, the ravens had an extra week to ponder a three-game losing streak. and they had to take on the undefeated denver broncos. the ravens rise up and score a decisive victory. >> from the shotgun. -- and it starts with the defense. on the first play of the game. jarrod johnson untouched hits denver quarterback kyle orton. that would set the tone for this one. the broncos had the ball six times in the first half. they would punt it on all six of those possessions. 6-0 ravens at halftime started the second half a lightning strike pried by rookie kick return rer lardarius webb. started at his 5-yard line. he will go the distance. 95 yards. his first career nfl touchdown. 13-0 ravens. they never trailed in the game. they did score two touchdowns on offense. joe flacco, to derek mason. this one for 20 yards and the score. ray rice would add a rushing touchdown after that. the ravens, big winners, 30-7 over the broncos. >> two weeks sitting on a losing streak to come out the way you guys does today. what does that say about this deem? damascus home. the state medical examiner will do an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. the man charged with killing chandra levy sent two letters to a witness threatening him and his family. he was arrested in april and charged with first degree murder in the slaying of levy in 2001. his trial has been set for january 27. in a week, the man behind a serial sniper shooting spree is slated to die. seven years after he and his partner terrorized people here in maryland, d.c. and virginia. and tonight at 11:00 on wjz, vic carter talks with two of the snipers' targets. they share their inner most feelings as the man who tried to kill them john allen mohamed faces death. conservative talk show host rush limbaugh had tough words for the president. >> he really has no experience
