in. we're very disappointed. >> reporter: ehrlich probably did not know about the call or contents. henson had an attorney neil jenny, i contacted mr. jenny today. he declined to comment on the case. he wouldn't even confirm if he had been retained. no one has been charged as a result of this ongoing investigation. we want to update the breaking news in baltimore county. a fire creates a spectacular fireworks show of sorts. captain mike perry with more -- it was big sparks here along -- this is broadway road just wet west of falls road. you're looking at a fire truck now, this is what we were looking at, we're about 25 minutes as a tree branch came down across power lines causing the power lines to break and then touched the ground and that call set off a big fire as the electrical lines, a lot of many thousands of volts going into the ground. now fire officials did close broadway road in both directions. this is right around broadway and woodland for some period of time. pge arrived, now all that is burning is a very small ground fire and it's quite dark here as most of the power along broadway road here in the green spring valley is down. seems like a couple of dozen houses are affected by this. as soon as they make this scene safe, they'll reopen broadway road here just west of falls road. right now it remains closed as fire officials continue to get this smoke and flames out then figure out what's going on with the electrical wires, back to you on tv hill. campus on alert, police looking for the men who robbed a woman making it a deposit at a bank branch. >> reporter: the suspect ran up to her and tried to take the money. after a brief struggle, the suspect was able to get some of her money. he was young, only in his 20s about 5'6" tall. he was wearing you can see the damage on the home. the flames moving in, simmons jumped from a second floor landing in some bushes. simmons suffered injuries and is being treated at shock trauma. it appears to have 3:00 this afternoon. wind were gusting between 55- miles-an-hour. they are calming down. big low pressure we talked about is now slowly sinking into the atlantic. interior sections, it's just cold enough that they are seeing snow. higher elevations up in elevations, still a little bit of rain and snow over portions of the northern new york. and a little bit of new hampshire. there. most of it is pretty much gone, the heaviest rain over boston, cape cod. that's slowly moving away. look at how clear the delineation is from delaware east and north. a lot of dry air still west of that storm system. for our region, as that storm moves away, high pressure moves in. winds generally going out to the west and eventually temperatures are going to stay at or above normal all week long with plenty of sunshine. looks like a really, really pleasant week considering it's you know middle of november almost. we're pretty lucky. northwest winds 15 to 20. a gust of 25. and we do have a small craft advisory. the bay temp around 58. tonight, clear to partly cloudy, generally not too many clouds expect east. 36 by morning which is just about normal. and tomorrow sunny to partly sunny. a bit of breeze, upper 50s which is exactly where it's supposed to be for tomorrow. so temperatures for the rest of the week a couple of degrees higher than that. we might even get some spots could get to reporter: it was a unanimous decision, jurors condemned killer steven hayes to death for a brutal home invasion in suburban connecticut. pettitte was raped and strangled, her daughter mckayla was also raped and assaulted before her they were doused. the rest of the family remained hostage at home when the mother was forced to go to the bank and withdraw money. >> we have a lady at the bank who says that her husband and family are being held hostage at their home. >> makayla was a 13-year-old old killed in her bedroom, surrounded by stuffed animals. kayli had a great future. >> reporter: hayes attorney tried to portray him as a crook who had never committed a crime. manuel gallegos. connecticut has only executed one man since 1960. a stunning new message of terror for the man who may soon surpass osama bin laden as the voice of al-qaida. mary is live in the newsroom with the man and his message. >> reporter: a new video on extremist websites, alalaki calls on muslims to kill americans. al-alaki is calling for holy war against the united states. his influence militants involved in several attacks and attempted attacks including hasan, the man accused after a rampage in fort hood. he president. >> reporter: the president announced new business deals between american and indian companies. the white house says that could mean as many as 50,000 new u.s. jobs. still many americans jobs from the united states of america. >> reporter: the white house is trying hard to cast this trip as a jobs mission. the president believes that voters concerns about the economy feel the big element in the prosecutions case. as of last friday knox has spent three years in her cell. her appeal for being in jail for another three years begins in less than three weeks. that trail is separate who might actually listen. that judge has a reputation for not being afraid of going against a political grain which could mean good news for the knox family. >> this is going to be her chance once again to have this wrongful conviction overturned and you know she's looking forward to that. so we are as well. >> knox's lawyer launched a 50 page document requesting a review of forensic evidence. including dna samples they claim were mishandled and tainted. jessica cartalia. >> knox's ex-boyfriend was convicted and sentenced to 25 years. another case of salmonella. thousands of eggs were recalled due to signs of salmonella at the ohio fresh egg farm. those eggs were not sold at any stores in maryland. fast food restaurants have been offering healthy alternatives in their menus but are
