A sheriff in Marion County say sean grate confessed to killing a woman there several years ago. Last week sean grate 12 the Ashland Police department that he had killed the female in Marion County. He wanted to get this off his says 40 yearold sean grate later made a full confession to his investigators and gave grisly details about the murder, information that only the killer would know. He was telling us that this was the first woman he killed. The woman was found in 2,007. Police believe she was killed in 2005 or prior. They said grate could not remember the exact year. Grate told police he killed the woman because she sold magazines to his upset because she never got them a few months later grate saw the same young woman. He got her into his car by telling her he wanted to buy some magazines. He took her to a residence south of the city of marion were where he took her into the house and stabbed her. Then he hated her in hit her in the basement for two days. The sheriff says he believes grate may have killed more women weve got to call him a police found grate and a woman he was holding hostage in this house behind me in ashland. They also found two bodies. Grate is also a suspect in a third homicide in richland county. Sources say Candace Cunningham from canton, grates former girlfriend, may be the victim.
