And british Officials Say new preliminary information shows it is more likely a bomb, not a mechanical issue that brought down the russian jet seen in this new video taken moments after the crash. We must suspend flights to Sharm El Sheik and advise against all but essential travel by air. The uk foreign secretary says in addition to halting flights, travel advice for uk nationals will also change after finding extremely lax security at the egyptian airport. The uk is now working with airlines to return the 20,000 british tourists still in the resort city of Sharm El Sheikh. Terror groups operating in the region have been working extremely hard to develop explosives that can be smuggled on to an airplane undetected. The white house says the faa told airlines earlier in the year that u. S. Civil aviation operating into, within or over the Sinai Peninsula is at potential risks associated with treemist activists.
