Around the world. We are going to talk about that and much more. Very special guest the man himself frank anthony. Rick welcome back to the show. Thats great to be here. Its a new season of a different way we look at terrorism policy. The way we look at the refugees coming into this country. How we look at our poorest borders. To take a step back, and give the Border Patrol and opportunity to do their job instead of weakening , as we talked so oftenabout. Are you optimist . I think what the American People said they wanted, which is very much what you just described. As a source of comfort and yes optimism. The challenges that the president elect will have an implement and the policies he laid out, i think most explicitly on august 15 and of course the campaign, to address the islamic state, that most notorious of terrorist organizations right now. But of the jihadist more generally. To stop bringing them into the country. And to end the kind of willful blindness we have talked about a lot over many years. Mainly, the failure to even understand the nature of the enemy. And as important as anything, in addition to dealing with the iran deal, a statement he made about the need to counter the networks that are radicalizing muslims in our own country. I think you put all of those together as an agenda. Thats a very promising plan of action and if implement it successfully, will make america a greatdeal more secure. Does it concern you , the president seems to unscripted interactions with leaders like pakistan, without understanding the full extent the issues that we are confronted with them. Not necessarily using the statement part, setting him up for briefings, but whatever he says doesnt become for these leaders. We saw how it happened, the is this concern you . Is this a new way i know you have barry when it comes to president elect. Should we be concerned . Its early days. Im reasonably sure that whether the state department was involved in providing briefings or not, there were others in his immediate circle these goals. I happen to think the fact that he made the call to the president of taiwan, which the state department is horrified about, was actually a very positive step. I dont know the exact context of the conversation. Whether it is respect to taiwan or these other foreign leaders, it is one of those things that is going to happen, namely interactions at the head of state level. Or the head of governmentlevel. We are going to watch him get up the learning curve , i feel reasonably confident that if he stays with the sorts of positions he ran on, as candidate, that he will have useful conversations with those foreign leaders. Now, they might try to exploit them for their own domestic purposes or opposition. But that is the nature of international affairs. It is not always a scripted game. Doesnt bother you that he said somalia was in the middle east . Somal geographically in the middle east but it is in the heart of the world that he is concerned about. And i think properly so. All the way through the northern parts of africa into the middle east and afghanistan and into asia, is a very broad problem that frankly is bigger than the geographic bounds is it difficult for you, as to constructively criticize him . You think as much as we wish him well, constructive criticism will make this man better and the people around him. I find it hard to see the president elect somaliais in the lease. Theres a certain discipline that is required here. For me, its about the integrity of people watching. Sometimes there is a need we have to be critical in a constructive way, and in a fair way. I dont think its a big deal. I am perfectly im discernible. Tell our audience why its not a big deal. Its the kind of gaffe that can be made when you are talking about a problem in a larger sense. I think what he was saying as i understand it, is that we have to be worried of about somalia as though it is not literally in the middle east, it is exhibiting the same kind of behavior, refugees are a danger to us. The populations that have already comehere, have become radicalized , or came here radicalized. In a way its a case study of the kind of problem that he is wrestling with. I just dont think its that big of a deal is not his statement is the effect it has on us. The terrorist who plowed his vehicle and took out at you Ohio State University we will talk about that when we return. We will be back. I am shocked at how weak minded understanding, that certain americans have peered that when someone can say during the holidays, kill americans use vehicles, use knives whatever means necessary. These things all start in israel. Just like the fires we are seeing now. And yet some somalian student at Ohio State University can actually get in avecle, and do exactly what they were asked to do. And jump out with a knife, knowing he will be killed , with no thought about it. What you think about these university studentsthat they can be so void of common sense and patriotism that their minds , you can send out this memorandum, and tell them to carried out. [indiscernable] disconcerting. As it should be to all of us. I mentioned at the break donald trump talked about the networks that are radicalized. One of the eminent examples of this is a mosque in columbus ohio. I think including this individual. Its called majeed amar. It has a track record of being associated with at least six different terrorist organizations, operations, or individuals. At some point, we have to ask ourselves, is what is going on inside that mosque, contributing to this perception, that it is gods will that individuals like this, must use violence or whatever other means at their disposal. To try to impose what they call sharia on the rest of us. Just so we are clear im not talking about all muslims wanting to do that, or all muslims exhibiting this behavior, i amtalking about mosques , this is all laid out in this terrific book written by the Muslim Brotherhood, most of the time when im on the program, available for free at secure freedom. Org. The secret plan of the Muslim Brotherhood to destroy western civilization from within. Using mosques, front groups, influence operations, subversion, and appropriate violence to try to take us down. You asked earlier about my optimism. What happened in orlando, new york, new jersey, chattanooga, san bernardino, we are looking at a problem inside the country that i think people like attorney general jeff sessions, National Security advisor mike flynn, even secretary of defense jim mattis. These are people that get the nature of the enemy some call political islam, some call radical terrorism, they understand this problem. And deal with these networks. Let me make sure we are following. Im sure we are following what you are saying. I think many people to figure out doesnt really matter who is in the white house, there is really no policy, because they are already here. There already radicalized theres really no policy you can put in place for someone that that just snapped and got in the car and decided to get in a car in the busiest intersection. The best thing you can do if you are there and when that is happening, is not give into fear and panic. You realize someone is doing that, youre that person is deadly. You have split seconds to take them out. Law enforcement policies cannot help you that is the start of something we have not seen it again since it happened in the south of france. Its not happening in israelas much. Its not really organized because they dont this deed. They have no idea where this personis going to come from. Theres no way to monitor them. This is a person that wakes up in the morning is mad about something , can i calibrate this for you . First of all these are not normal people. These are people that believe that god is directing them to engage in jihad. One day they might not be doing it actively, what they know it is their duty to do it and they will do it at some point. Its their call. Individual jihad its their duty. To answer your question if it makes any difference whos in the white house. I think it makes all the difference. Not that donald trump or anybody else will protect against anyone, im talking about the difference between a president of the United States, who i believe has really been encouraging this kind of behavior. Because he has been among other things, bringing hundreds of thousands of refugees from but encouraging does not mean thats his intent. I just want to make sure [indiscernable] whatever his intent is the practical of bringing injihadis working with the brother rotherhood, to tell us what we can know and think and say about this threat. It is a night and day difference. Mark twain had a wonderful line, its the difference what about australia . Its very much related. The difference between president obama and a future president donald trump, is going to be the incumbent president will use the remainder of histerm to continu importing people, we have every reason to be ieve at least some of whom are jihadist. They cant be vetted and t come from places in which jihad, sharia, are the order of the day. Australia is a case in point. We have been hearing, not very much frankly, because it is a secret deal because the president struck with the Prime Minister of that they wont admit into australia. Refugees from burma or who knows where, who they believe are two evidently, too dangerous to come into australia and the president of the United States has decided he would bring them here. And j johnson this will not give Congress Information about who these people are, where they are coming from, what they know about why they were not let in. Oranything else from that matter. This speaks to your question, does it matter who is in the white house . It makes all the difference in the sense that we either disarm sorts of dangerous, not just overseas, isis, but here at home , or we recognize there are dangers, we counter them to the best of our ability. This is really the key point. What makes these guys tick bin laden, they want to be with the strong horse. If the jihadist think they are winning, if they feel as though their team is ascended and the rest, the americansespecially, aresubmitting , they are their response to that is not surprisingly, to make a redoubled effort. It inspires more people to engage in jihad. It encourages them to give money to support those who are engaged in jihad. It in encourages them to migrate, colonize, and become more aggressive in those networks that are radicalizing. All of give this gets much worse. [indiscernable] doesnt the election of mr. Trump give a different signal . Its the beginning. Several of the appointments he has made are the beginning of it. The test will be does he implement policies like designating the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization. Which it is. Its right here. They are about destroying western civilization from within. Does he do that on day one . Which he can by telling the state department designate them, does he stopimporting more jihadist . Before he becomes president. I think he could say dont bring those refugees. Hold that part. We will be back with some final thoughts. Welcome back. Your thigh and yourfinal though . You asked the question, should americans feel optimistic that we are going to get thats right . Were going to make our own country safer, i feel very optimistic with what i have seen of the trumpet ministration and making now, and the commitments he made with the American People that got him to the position of president of the United States. He needs our support. Lets be clear, one of the things. Aggressively being pursued by what we call the red green axis or even red green black access, the black lives Matter Movement is trying to undermine this president before he even gets into office. He needs our support, hey needs to be affirmed that we want this kind of threat whether osu, nonviolence, addressed an addressed effectively. And i think we have reason for optimism. We are going to pause here, this is a moment where we need some words of wisdom from our pastor eric bernard. Hopefully if there is time remaining we will come back to get a few more questions.
