stopped by the home. entered the home and found the body of an adult male. the details about the victim have not been released. police are waiting to notify family members at this hour. the victims' vehicle is usually parked outside a home and is currently missing. described as a dark blue 2007 nissan exterra. the bizarre twist is old records show in 2002, there were two people shot in the same middle school and high-school students are under investigation for their role in the sexting scandal. some students at payan middle school and walt whitman high school posed for inappropriate this is just coming in. brian keith betts, 42 years old. he lives in the home behind me. police say the call came in around 7:30 last night. it is now a homicide investigation. the victim did not show a full work yesterday. that is when a co-worker stopped by to check up on him and discovered the body of betts. details about the victim are just being released. we only have the name right now. the victims' vehicle normally found outside the home is currently missing, described as a dark blue 2007 nissan exterra. the bizarre twist in all this, old records show that in 2002 there was also another incident, another crime scene, that was a shooting where two people were killed. that case is closed. in this recent incident, no suspect. it's an ongoing investigation. the victim is brian keith betts. contact police if you have information. >> this murder took place in the same area where a father and daughter were shot to death in 2002. 9-year-old erica smith and 47- year-old gregory
