brown for mayor. brown says that vincent gray promised him a job in the administration if he stayed in the race. he was hired as an auditor. he made the allegations public not long after he was let go from that job. he is supposed to testify if before the council committee around 1:00 this afternoon at the wilson building, that is located behind me. it is supposed to wrap up sometime before 7:00. are very wary of this plan. if you look at the landscape democrats need to pick up 25 seats and you take medicare plus all the money democrats are raising and give them the potential to win back the house. i don't think anything thought would happen then isn't there also re-districting issues? >> illinois is the place to really watch. that one state alone republicans are getting rolled in the re-districting process. it looks like up to five republicans could lose their seats because they will redraw the district. when you have that happen in targeted places and it is happening in iowa, it trendlines. you always watch what is happening with independent voters. obama won the presidency because he won independent voters. republicans are one the house because they won independent voters for the independence are starting to move back to the point where they are evenly divided. if republicans can win the independents, they will win the house. it is that simple. the big one is the economy. i don't think anyone thinks the economy will be robust. it could be worse than it is today which would have a terrible effect for an incumbent. republicans are in control of the house of that
