found safe and sound in new york city. they were abducted by a man they knew. he was armed. there were taken at 6:00 last night and it prompted a big surge and a nationwide amber and alerts. brianne that to the woman and child have been found safe and sound in new york city. if this happened just before 6:00 last night in the 5000 block of fitch street se. 39-year-old karen elizabeth johnson and 9-year-old lamoury bryant were allegedly abducted by 49-year-old lamont johnson, believed to be armed at the time. if johnson forced the woman and two children into a white or cream vehicle. the other child was released and able to call authorities. informations and that child was used to help locate the mother and child. d.c. police tell us the man has been detained. brianne carter reporting. the course of about two weeks. the latest incident that happened on monday, the maryland transportation secretary was on the train that overshot the station by about three car lengths and she was them behind 30 minutes. the engineer apparently slowed the train down too late. hundreds of people were left stranded last week in the sweltering heat at the new carrollton station after the train but down. a couple days later, another marc train lost power, once again stranding passengers. the transportation secretary is demanding answers and she will be at an advisory meeting shortly. you can bet
