They were trying to stop her from being deported. The woman, Guadalupe Garcia de rayos, was arrested in 2009 for working with a false Social Security number. Ice released a statement. It says the woman was detained based on a removal order issued by the justice department, which was made final in 2013. And it says she has a prior felony conviction for criminal impersonation. Garcia de rayos is among the first Illegal Immigrants targeted for deportation under President Trumps strict new immigration rules.
