This is after a lawsuit was filed against the principal of the school saying there were concerns raised about this volunteer and they were ignored. Just last night, Prince Georges County leaders met for the first time to discuss this widening scandal. Was filed against suspect deonte carraway, the School System and the principal on behalf of a nineyearold victim. It claims that these horrifying acts took place in an open area like the auditorium and bathroom and occurred during a complete absence of supervision. Another new allegation that parents and teachers voiced their concerns about the 22yearolds predatory nature to the principal, but nothing was done. The principle is on leave. The initial findings incident, a breakdown of communication between two people who are now both at fault. At least four Safety Measures failed during this incident. The train was told to stop it federal triangle, but the operator did not hear the command correctly. Protocol calls for the train to repeat the instruction back to eliminate error. He repeated what he thought he heard and the controller replied affirmative despite it being the wrong command. Then the train operator went through a red light. Operators do but usually go through red lights, but they first must stop and ask for specific position to go through it. The operator never asked. Metro calls that a direct violation. And the switch in the track set up for this particular situation was incorrect. The operator of the train should have recognized that. He continued going, causing damage to the track. The final safety net that ultimately stopped the crash was that this train was only go what it was instructed to do. That trade was able to stop just 189 feet before colliding and crashing into another train that was loaded with passengers inside the Smithsonian Metro station. Both the train operator involved and the person at the command center have been suspended for at least 10 days. They will undergo training. This is a preliminary investigation. The state has just rested its case this afternoon. 37yearold jared klein, that former nurse, is on trial. He has been sitting in court with a stoic face not saying much while the jury came in. He just stared at that. That the young victim in this case, a 23yearold woman, is also inside the courthouse with her parents this afternoon. Several sexing Assault Charges at at least three different hospitals in the area. Today he is standing trial for one of the incidents that occurred at bowie health center. He is accused of forcing the female patients hands to touch his groin area an examination. The prosecutor described this to the jury as a simple case thing, instead of giving her medical treatment, he sexually assaulted her. The jury in six men and seven women. Listened intently as his attorney argued that this was all accidental contact well drawing blood from the patients forearm. While drawing blood from the patients forum. The plaintiff has also taken a stand. She was very emotional, saying arm klein manipulated her to grasp his private parts. She immediately told doctors to call police. She said she was in such shock and disbelief that she did not screen.
