This afternoon, two people died in separate incidents in annandale and alexandria. We begin in old town where mike carterconneen went to a murder along street. Mike around 12 30 this afternoon, police say 28yearold pierre clark was shot and killed on the 1000 block of montgomery street in old town alexandria. Residential area. Busy area. A few blocks from the old town tourist district. Clark suffered trauma to the upper body. Multiple gunshot wounds. Transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead one hour later. Homicide detectives canvassed the area talking to witnesses who tell me it was quiet this afternoon when suddenly they hearted about six rapid gunshots heard about six rapid gunshot. They looked and they saw clarks body on the sidewalk. They are upset and angry after another Fatal Shooting in the area. Especially late at night. The residents say there is a lot of activity here. A total of at least four people according to the chief, at least four people were shot in the leg here. I heard from some of the witnesses that people were running and screaming, coming this way.
