The parents are matt and melissa graves. From elk horn, nebraska. The 2yearold is lane graves. I will share with you that the child was found, his body was completely intact. So at this time we will go through the formality of making a formal identification. But there is no reason for us to believe that the body that was recovered is not that of lane graves. The effort to continue with the Wildlife Management here at disney will go forward. I will turn it over at this time to the executive director who will share with you more details about their efforts. Thank you sheriff demings. First again we want to say that the thoughts and the prayers are with this family. We are at the outcome. I want to thank sheriff demings and the Orange CountySheriff Office throughout the entire tragedy. That i have been great to work with. They are a benefit to the community. I would like to thank disney. They have been totally cooperative as we worked through this in how we handled the tragedy. Although we have some sort over close of closure, the investigation is still ongoing. We are going to continue to evaluate the evidence we have. And we are going to try to continue searching. We will make certain we have the alligator involved and that we remove it. We remove it from the lake. So we are going to verify we have captured that alligator through forensic work or we are going to continue to look for an alligator until we find the right one. We will work with disney as they continue to address alligators park. We do deliver a message to you. The message is they do appreciate all the prayers that have gone forward to allow those of us working on the professional side to do our jobs. To recover their son. So they can move forward at this time with proper burial. On behalf of the family i deliver the message to you. It was a tough message to deliver to them to let them know at this point their child is dead. At this time we will entertain a few questions. Reporter how important is it to find the alligator . Do you fear it could do it again . Sheriff demings again, there were several alliga located. I will let the f. W. C. Director speak to you about the process they use to confirm one of the alligators located is the right one or not. Just really quickly. We are going to look at the five alligators we have taken and we are going to compare things like bite marks and such as that. We dont know what we have yet. It is still early in that part of the investigation. There is a good chance we already have the alligator. We focused the efforts in that proximity and that area where the incident occurred. There is a good chance. But we are going to go through the process and the forensics to make certain. If we cant get a certain match we will go out and look for alligators to make sure we have done everything we can and all the Due Diligence to make sure we have taken the alligator out. Its important to do that. Reporter where did you find the alligator . Sheriff demings i believe the question is where did we find he was within the immediate area where he was last seen. It took some time to go through and make certain. The water is murky. But the divers were able to locate the body. We used sonar equipment and means to go in and recover remains. Reporter was the body found intact . Reporter [inaudible question] sheriff demings the autopsy has to confirm that. There is likely no question in my mind that the child was drowned by the alligator. Reporter should there be a sign to warn people about the alligators . Sheriff demings there is signage that says no swimming. Disney will look at all of their protocols and the signage going forward. Reporter do you recommend they add the signs to warn sheriff demings this is a partnership. Our ultimate concern is about the safety of the guests at disney as well as the public. As the Investigation Continues we will continue our Death Investigation with the Orange CountySheriff Office. Im certain that there will be opportunities opportunities in the future to look at what has occurred to see if it can be prevented in the future. [inaudible question] we will get to the spanish media in a moment. Reporter what process did they go through . Sheriff demings the director explained that process to you about what they will do to ensure they have the right gator. Reporter could you go into more detail about what the family was doing along the shore . In the water . Playpen near the water . What were they doing . Sheriff demings the family was vacationing. A regular pl they were sitting outside the area. Beach like area. They were enjoying the evening. They have a 4yearold child. There was a playpen nearby. The 2yearold was just along the edge of the bank playing in the water when this occurred. Do you believe that the signage is inefficient, sheriff . Reporter did you deliver the message yourself to the family . What was their reaction . Sheriff demings i delivered the message with a previous, previous, message along with a priest, a catholic priest. Of course the family was distraught but also i believe somewhat relieved that we were able to find their son with the body intact, one. And two, he was located so they can come to grips with what has happened. Reporter you have seen the you have been listening to the Orange County there have . Orlando confirm the devastating news of the toddler found. His body recovered from the lagoon there at the Disney Resort. He walked us through the process of what happens next.
