allegations of sexual harassment. cain called the chicago woman who went public with her complaints a liar. hear how she is responding coming up. >> yet another woman has gone public, her name leaked, she is stepping forward suggesting the accusers have a group press conference to show a complete body of evidence against him. things are getting very interesting on that. plus, also, on this wednesday morning, absolutely outrageous scandal involving the u.s. air force base that handles dead military personnel flown home for burial. what whistle blowers uncovered and how the military cracked down. later this half-hour, complaints from a lonely wife who was sick and tired of her husband's overnight hours at work. how her desperate actions got her in trouble with the police. >> you yes, i am saying that. you know, in as nice a way as i can. i've don't know any other way to say it. >> reporter: in an exclusive interview for the abc news yahoo! newsmaker series, cain fired back against the allegations. >> i have absolutely not acted inappropriate with this lady or anybody else in my career. >> reporter: bialek is the fourth woman to accuse cain but first to come forward publicly. >> he put his hand on my leg, under my skirt. >> reporter: bialek, a registered republican says she told three people about the incident at the time but didn't file any work place complaints because she didn't work for cain. >> i am not a liar. everyone know that knows me knows i speak the truth. >> reporter: now another accuser named, karen kraushaar, currently a federal government employee who received a cash settlement after she accused cain when they worked together at national restaurant association. >> the accusations were made of sexual harassment. they were found obama. d.c. court of appeals ruled to uphold the key provision of the health care law. the provision requires individuals to buy health insurance by 2014 or pay penalty. the supreme court will discuss legal challenges to the law tomorrow. fears over a nuclear iran are rekindled this morning after new report by the u.n. in that report, u.n. inspectors found that iran is closer to developing a nuclear weapon than previously thought. abc's jim shuto reports. >> reporter: iran insisted their nuclear program is for civilian purposes this report from iaea that iran is carrying out activities whose sole purpose is development of a nuclear weapon. every step of the process, experimenting with nuclear triggers and computer models of nuclear explosions. the u.s. concluded iran ended its weapons program in 2003, but the iaea reluctant to make allegations finds evidence that weapons program has tind in secret for years. we are now told the white house is already preparing a new round of what it hopes will be strong sanctions against iran. research showing that some missiles pointed towards israel, potentially a volatile situation there the so far no comment from israel though. but military personnel killed in afghanistan. a year-long air force investigation triggered by several whistle blowers found the military mortuary twice lost body parts of the war dead. and they say the secretary orderd a separate review due in 60 days. >> we move on to italy where the hope is that a government shake-up will help keep the country out of the debt mess. silvio berlusconi will resign once italy's parliament passesic npassesic -- passes economic reforms. making a major bailout unnecessary. a vote on the reform measures now slated for next week. meanwhile in greece we should know today who is going to be that country's new interim leader. greece's current prime minister is ready to step down as soon as a new government is ready to be put in place. that new government will guide a massive european financial aid package through greece's parliament. approval of aid would go a long way towards easing financial markets worries about a european recession. asian traders seem to luke what they were hearing about the political moves in europe the most major markets across the far east were trading higher today. on wall street all may jr. hajos were up. and a majority of americans say the federal government must do something to reduce the income gap between the wealthy and the less fortunate. a new abc news poll just released shows 60% would support policies to address wealth distribution. but far fewer, 44%, support the occupy wall street protestors. which puts this issue into the spotlight. 41% say they oppose the movement. parts of southeast texas have a big clean-up job on their hands this morning. that area was battered by a line of severe storms in up to five apparent tornados as well. high winds shattered glass, ripped shingles from homes and [ male announcer ] maybe you see something sususpiciou. but you don't want to get involved. it's nothing, you think. can you be surure? ♪ if you see something, say something. report suspicious activity to local authorities. this morning on "world news now" -- campus crisis. penn state university's top administrators take action after a sex abuse scandal continues to rock the school. >> will the iconic former football coach be forced to step down? it's wednesday, november 9th. good morning, everybody. i'm rob nelson. >> i'm sunny hostin. while college administrators move into crisis mode, all eyes are on penn state's head coach joe paterno and his abruptly canceled news conference. what's next for paterno's former assistant, jerry sandusky accused of abusing boys? >> we know this crisis taking a toll on his personal life as well, in terms of access to his own grandkids as well. so many ripple effects to this drama. we'll get into that in a second. our other top story, the gop presidential hopeful, herman cain and extremely defiant response to sexual harassment allegations what he has to say now to his latest accuser. another woman made public in the scandal. there is her picture right there, outed by the press. she wants to speak out and give her story as well. >> later, this half-hour, the historic change in california schools and could set an example for the country. can you imagine adding a grade to usual k through 12 education? >> from louisiana, pre-k funded ones were common. apparently now this is becoming a wider trend here. >> i wondered why we didn't have that nationally, pre-k, kids need to be prepared for kindergarten. >> earlier they get into school, the better they do later in life. we'll check out that trend. first, the penn state board of trustees in full damage control, after an emergency meeting the board issued a statement saying it is fully committed to restoring public trust in the university. >> the board appointed a committee to look into the scandal. what about the future of legendary coach joe paterno? >> abc's scott goldberg has details on this and more. good morning, scott. >> reporter: good morning, joe paterno's son, scott is pushing back against reports that his father's days as head coach are numbered. he called an article premature. and no one asked his father to step down after a paper ran the story saying the coach will be gone within days or weeks. the scandal that is shattering the reputation of penn state football and casting a shadow over the entire university, appears to have taken out an icon. "the new york times" reports two sources close to top university officials say joe paterno's time as head coach will soon be over. it is clear the paper says, the man who has more victories than any other coach in college football's top level, and who made penn state a prestigious national brand will not survive to coach another season. penn state's president abruptly canceled paterno's weekly news conference, where the coach had been anticipating questions about former assistant jerry sandusky. >> i know you guys have a lot of questions and i was hoping i would be able to answer them today. but we will ftry to do it soon - can't do it today. >> reporter: sandusky charged with sexually assaulting eight boys over 15 years. paterno has not been charged and is not a target of the investigation but facing criticism for calling university officials instead of the police when he learned about the allegations. espn analyst matt millen, former penn state player, choked up talking about his alma mater. >> it's pretty disturbing. and if we can't protect our kids, we, as a society are pathetic. >> if this is the end it is hard to imagine a worse exit for paterno. he has been head coach for 46 years, won two national titles and largely credited with increasing penn state's endowment from 0 to $1 billion. rob, sunny? >> truly is a god on the campus. what a sad final chapter for him. sad, sandusky, newspapers reporting this morning, he is no longer allowed any unsupervised visits with his own grandchildren because of the scandal. >> wonder where it came from? did his family ask for that or did the prosecutor asks for that? unclear. >> you see ripple effects. unbelievable. to presidential politics and defiant response from herman cain over sexual harassment accusations. cain says he will not drop out of the race and that he never did anything inappropriate in his career. abc's jonathan carl sat down with the candidate. >> reporter: herman cain faced the world with a categorical denial of all allegations against him. >> the charges and the accusations are absolutely -- i absolutely reject. they simply didn't happen. they simply didn't happen. >> reporter: a second woman, karen kraushaar, a treasury department official went public in an interview with "the new york times." this after sharon bialek held a press conference saying cain sexually harassed her in 1997. >> he suddenly reached over and he put his hand on my leg, under my skirt. >> reporter: in an exclusive interview for abc news yahoo! cain said he doesn't even remember meeting her. >> they are baseless because i reject them. but in this particular case i don't know who this lady is. and when i first saw her, i didn't recollect even, i didn't even recognize her. >> let's be clear you are saying she is lying about this? >> yes. i am saying that. you know, in as nice a way. i don't know any other way to say it. >> reporter: cain says he most regrets the pain the controversy caused his family especially his wife of 43 years, gloria. >> even though my wife is more of a quiet, quieter person than i am, has a quiet, sweet personality. she can get angry like anybody else. >> is she angry about this? >> yes, yes she will tell you flat out she is angry about it. >> reporter: now karen kraushaar, the latest woman to come forward to make accusations against cain, says she wants to get together with the women that made accusations to hold a joint press conference. in other words -- doesn't look like this is over jet. jonathan carl, scottsdale, arizona. >> the latest woman, to come out, karin, a spokeswoman at the treasury department in d.c. so she's are professional, educated, reputable. >> arguably credible women. he has got to come out and do more than deny, deny, deny. what are we to think as the public. is it a conspiracy? all of the women got together and decided they wanted to oust herman cain. it doesn't make a lot of sense. >> like the penn state story, the more people that come out the more believable the story seems. it's true. shifting gears now, nba players dispute continues to drag on. are maintaining their hard line stance as the league contract players say they will ignore a deadline of 5:00 p.m. eastern time for -- accepting the league latest deal. they want another meeting with league owners before the deadline. the nba commissioner says if the deadline passes the next deal will include salary reductions and other provisions beneficial to league owners. >> we step back now to sunday afternoon when patrons at an atlanta restaurant were enjoying football watching on tv when a surprise visit came charging in through a window. tom jones of atlanta's wsb shows us the wild scene. >> reporter: watch as a deer comes crashing through a window, inside the taco mac restaurant on wind ward parkway sunday. the animal frightens two patrons and host. it regains its footing and catches a server by surprise. >> the deer decided to chase after the server. >> reporter: the deer goes outside on the patio. >> he actually hit the -- the fence over here, got its antler stuck in between the bars. >> reporter: surveillance video captures the deer head butting the door trying to get back in. when that didn't work the animal hopped the fence and took off. general manager brian stanley was standing at the door when the deer came crashing through the window. >> very loud. very loudest thing i have heard in here. a lot of people thought it was a gunshot. >> reporter: surveillance cameras show patrons watching a falcon's game jump up in shock wondering what was going on. leonard henderson watched the video. >> i am not going to lie. think i would have ran. >> reporter: the video shows a young customer chase out after the deer. he comes back quickly. customers say it isn't often you see a deer rampaging through a restaurant. >> it was crazy. went through the window. surprised a lot of people. it was pretty insane. >> some deer need a taco. >> must have been hungry. doesn't make any sense. >> that restaurant is not in an isolated area. a lot of commercial places in the area. the deer was in the mood for mexican, hey, go get it. i would have given it to him. take it large. here is your wednesday weather. rain along the gulf coast, tennessee, kentucky. torrential rain, indianapolis, cleveland. and also heavy snow in northern michigan. expect several inches of it in fact in wisconsin and iowa. showers in the seattle area. >> mostly 40s across the rockies, middle of the country. 64 in detroit. 60, dallas. milder along the east coast, climbing to the 60s from boston to atlanta. >> well there were 46 shopping days until christmas. how did we get here? >> it didn't get in the hallway. we got out. and pretty big -- and -- and a lot of -- >> reporter: now his mom and fire fighters call nathaniel a hero for his bravery and actions. >> he is definitely a hero. >> he is definitely a hero. i wouldn't have my girls or him. if he didn't wake up to the fire. >> reporter: as far as nathaniel he is modest and isn't claiming the title just yet. >> i don't know. >> extraordinary. extraordinary. >> i don't know if adults have the presence of mind to do what that young kid did. to be that young and literally save his family. tip your hat to that for sure. >> impressive. the fire caused $100,000 worth of damage in the home. uninhabitable at this point. the family will stay at a hotel. like anyone that goes through a tragedy, you realize something like that -- stuff, is just stuff, you're safe, your kids are safe, your family is safe. that's what matters. >> and he will get an award. >> from the fire fighters. more from abc coming up. ard. >> from the fire fighters. more from abc coming up.
