Thousands turned to the streets for what were mostly peaceful organized marches. By evening tensions escalated with the small group that smashed windows and looted a store. Baltimores mayor blamed the violence on out of towners. Many of the people who werent from our community were in essence trying to hijack the very raw emotions of some of those who live in baltimore and were expressing anger over the death of mr. Gray. Karen baseball fans were kept inside camden yards after the orioles game ended due to concerns about the clashes happening just outside the stadium. 34 people were arrested. Grays family said they were upset the demonstrations turned ugly and called for calm. Freddie gray will be laid to rest today but the investigation into his death continues. The Baltimore Police say their internal probe will be completed by may 1st. So far, five of the six officers involved have spoken to investigators. Sam jummy, we just found out brand new information that the man who was shot and killed outside of his door 5 00 this morning was an employee of the f. B. I. We do not know his role within this organization but we are told that a representative from the f. B. I. Is en route to the scene to brief us on what his role was with that organization. Now, i cant about 5 00 this morning, neighbors tell me they heard about five gunshots go off. When they went to their windows they saw a man leaving the scene. He jogged to his car and got into the car and took off. Now, more than seven hours later, you can still see crime scene investigators working the scene combing front yards looking at neighbors homes for any kind of evidence for what led up to this crime earlier this morning. I just spoke again with investigators in the last five minutes and they tell me that this was an isolated incident. Theres no danger to the community and were actively investigating. Its still real early but were actively investigating to determine what happened. We have no suspects at this time but its still in the infancy stages of the investigation. Sam neighbors tell me this man stayed to himself. They often saw him in the neighborhood walking his dogs. His body was just removed from his front lawn within the last halfhour. This is on kirby road in clinton just across the street from james ryder fendell elementary school. Authorities say a worker in that quarry became trapped and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
