Marcy this is the battered black box containing the cockpit voice recorder now being analyzed, it is one of the keys to figuring out what caused Germanwings Flight 9525 to crash in the french alps yesterday. Will be possible to put it back together in order to be able to make use of it. Marcy the airbus was traveling from barcelona to dusseldorf germany when suddenly after reaching 38,000 feet the plane started quickly losing altitude. In just eight minutes, it plunged to just 6,000 feet before dropping from radar and slamming into a mountain. We dont know the buildup to that. Things that come to mind to me are rapid decompression for some reason or a fire on board. Marcy as investigators try to figure out what happened and why the pilots never made a distress call crews are navigating tough terrain to recover the bodies of the 150 people who were on board. Autria update on last months shooting at Frederick High School that injured two teenagers. Police say they have two people in custody. They were arrested this morning. And John Gonzalez has more now on the charges. John this afternoon, Frederick County police say these are the young men who caused so much terror here at Frederick High School back on february 4th. That night, there was a shooting out here in the parking lot while a basketball game was going on inside. Police and School Officials made the big announcement just moments ago and the commander in charge made it very clear this investigation is not over. They still want to do some followup interviews and there are possibly more suspects more arrests but today, these two men are behind bars facing a grand jury indictment. 21yearold Brandon Tyler and 19yearold Chandler Davenport both live here in frederick. Police say tyler was the shooter that night. Davenport, a coconspirator who actually went into the school and lured students out. Clearly, these students were targeted. Police say they knew their attackers. Two students were struck by gunfire. Two School Employees were forced to run and seek cover from the gunmen. You get involved in this criminal activity, you can guarantee the Frederick Police department and this community, Frederick County we will aggressively identify and prosecute. John the young victims are expected to make a full recovery. Now, the gun used in this shooting has not been recovered and police have reason to believe this was gang connected. We can tell you, School Officials believe that their schools are safe in the county saying this afternoon gangs are not school issues. They are community issues. It analyzed almost 2,000 videos showing how easily teens can lose concentration. Researchers found cell phones and fellow passengers play more of a role in deadly accidents than ever before. Look at how quickly the temperatures rise when you get back west of the mountains. Do some comparisons. 42 in charlottesville. 57 in elkins so clearly a warmer air mass at the leading edge of it, a warm front and that shows up on the futurecast tomorrow morning in terms of a few showers. By 9 00 10 00 in the morning breaks in the overcast that trend will spread eastward and i think the combination of sunshine and gusty sotherly wind will push us in the 70s later on tomorrow. And Late Afternoon and evening hours, cold front will come in with showers and maybe a couple of thunderstorms to go along with it. A definite sign of spring with the first thunderstorms of the season with this cold front and then well turn noticeably cooler as we head through the latter portions of the week. Fair amount of rain here especially into friday morning. It looks by friday afternoon, the rain will tend to move out but the area hanging on to cloudy skies. Heres the way we look through the rest of this day. The temperatures making their way only to about, you know 48 or 50 degrees. Tomorrow, well hit 70. In many areas into the lower 70s before the cold front brings in showers and thunderstorms. Stray shower early parts of friday and 57. Back in the mid 40s. Thats it for high temperatures.
