another man who had also been fatally shot, identified as alfonzo thompson, jr. >> the time and proximity of these two crimes naturally raises the question if they are linked. the answer is we do not know yet. we're certainly exploring the possibilities that they are connected, but at this time, there's nothing to indicate that. >> police say as of now they do not have a motive before either shooting. the ask anyone with information to call prince george's county police. >> new details about a story reported on last night two prince george's county police officers have been suspended dr. a police-involved shooting. investigators say evidence from the incident contradicts the officers' story. a family of five is looking to be alive after a scare earlier this morning. >> the entire family found unconscious operates carbon monoxide leak in their port washington home. brianne carter is live with the discovery. >> and understand from authorities that there is originally a call for a child up well with a head injury which is what led to the detection of very high carbon monoxide levels in this home. an early-morning scare after five family members were found unconscious, sick from high levels of carbon monoxide. >> that's my family. >> the mother, father, and three children ranging in age from four months to 10 years old were blown to the hospital in baltimore in critical condition. hours later their condition was improving. >> i spoke to the doctor ran they said everyone was out of risk. they're still checking on my aunt and michael. i guess she was the one most affected. >> before the discovery this morning, a fourth child living in the home was taken to children's medical center after family members say he was sick and fell out of bed. doctors discovered high levels of carbon monoxide in his blood. the hospital tried to contact the family but could not reach anyone. the hospital quickly called fire department. >> it's terrible, and that can smother you. >> they believe the leak came from a malfunctioning gas furnace. the relatives are checking in on the family today hoping that they will come home soon. throughout the morning we have seen a
