Their reps say the company had no outstanding issues. Now, petro says the driver involved in this accident did what he could to stop this situation from being worse. They say that if he hadnt tried to swerve out of the way in this wreck, he would have run into and potentially over those other two cars. In the newsroom joce sterman, abc 7 news. All right, joce. Alison she seemed to try to explain this in the simplest ways saying she decided to use her personal email not to hide anything but instead to avoid having to carry two phones use two accounts etc. She insists that the way she made sure any relevant workrelated emails were archived and kept them to an employee with a dotgov account. Those emails are included redundancy there, included in the 55,000 pages she turned over to the state department. That doesnt include her personal emails which she described as private. Saying, look, nobody would want their private emails read and that people can respect that. Those wont be turned over at least at this point. She says yes, there was a large lesson to be learned in all of this. Looking back, it would have been probably smarter to use two devices. But i have absolute confidence that everything that could be in any way connected to work is now in the possession of the state department. And i have to add even if i had two devices, which is obviously permitted, i did it for convenience and i now looking back think that it might have been smarter to have those two devices from the very beginning.
