Turns out anderson had headed back into the district. Once officers spotted him, there was a chase and two shootouts. He struck one officer in the leg and then the police opened fire. The calls of the accident is under investigation. In Anne Arundel County, a manhunt for a person who shot and critically injured a Police Officer. The officer was at a 7eleven just before 2 30 this morning when some of the said there was a man acting suspiciously outside. When the officer approached the person, they struggled the suspect took off, and that is when he opened fire. I cannot believe it. Things happen in other places but it blows my mind. Leon officers canvassed the neighborhood. The officer who was hit has not been identified. He was listed in critical condition. Child pornography had been uploaded to the service from a location in Fairfax County. Detectives began investigating monday, finding that it was a residence of a Fairfax CountyPolice Officer. The police say the officer is a 15 year veteran of the department who works in an administrative capacity. He was officially relieved of duty thursday. No arrests or charges.
