On sunday we learned through an initial report through the officer of the chief medical examiner it appears miller stabbed and shot his daughter the fact it was at the hands most father is the disturbing part for me. Police say the shootout began after miller wounded his daughters maternal grandfather and greatgrandmother at their home on farmer place in ft. Washington and then took off with his daughter, leaving police on a violent pursuit, stopping twice to fire his gun at officers. These Court Records may shed light into why all of this happened a custody battle between miller and the girls mother. The records show the mother was given sole legal and physical custody of the girl. From what i understand, he used to come over and vandalize the mother of his childs vehicle and sometimes would vandalize the house as well. No one answered the door at millers home on ail endale drive in temple hills sunday. Back where the violence began, neighbors are left wondering why a little girls life had to end so soon. Sad to see a little girl died 3 years old. She didnt even get to live her life. Tonight the childs maternal grandfather and great grandmother remain in the hospital. Police say the childs mother was not home at the time of the shooting and none of the six officers involved was injured. They all remain on administrative leave, which is standard procedure any time theres a policeinvolved shooting.
