We have two breaking stories. The first coming from Prince Georges County. A High Profile Police brutality case where a student is severely beaten. One of the officers involved is acquitted. This happens on central avenue. The driver of the car is dead. As many as 40 people were on the bus. They all appear to have nonthreatening injuries. And were monitoring severe storms. But one officer found guilty, the other not guilty. A relieved and happy john mckena left the Prince Georges County friday night after seven hours of deliberation, the jury found the officer not guilty on all charges. His codefendant, guilty of Second Degree of assault but not guilty of misconduct. This video, a crucial part in this case. The two officers were accused of beating up the u. M. D. Student during a post celebration in march of 2010. Two different outcomes for the two officers. Definitely glad that some justice has been done today. Its been a long two years for my and my family. Theres a broader crime committed here and it expanse way further than the two cops charged in the trial. There was some experts that he believed the initial strikes that were administered by officer baker were appropriate to get the victim in this case on the ground but they believed that officer harris subsequent blows were unlawful. At least 4 million by the students who were roughed by police. 2 million went to mckena. And were told that these arrangements or these settlements were made long before any official lawsuits were filed. Now, were also told na in December Harrison will be sentenced.
