A criminal complaint filed against Dominique Heaggan brown indicates there were four victims. In one case. He is accused of getting a man drunk. Then sexually assaulting him according to the complaint this happened the night after Heaggan Brown shot and killed Sylville Smith near 44th and auer. Police smith say smith was armed and raised his gun. Prompting Heaggan Brown to shoot him. This led to several days of violence in the sherman park neighborhood. Chief ed flynn says the investigation of the shooting of Sylville Smith should be based strictly on the facts and not the character of th but smiths family doesnt see it that way. How do you not tie someone to an activity an act that they did, a malicious crime, and then separate it from another malicious crime . The Milwaukee County das office is still reviewing the shooting of Sylville Smith. There is no timetable for charges. Heaggan brown is being held on 100 thousand dollars bond. Also happening today the man convicted of setting a fire that killed two children will likely learn his fate. A jury convicted Michael Morgan of arson and reckless homicide last month. The fire happened last october. 10yearold kevin little, and two yearold Taenajah Morgan were both killed. Morgans sentencing is scheduled for 815 are investigating another homicide. Last night officers were called to the area of 16th and olive for a report of a suspicious car running in an alley for a longtime. Thats where they found a man in his 30s had been shot to death. Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting including the time it happened. No word on any suspects at this time.
