Two Boston Police officers were shot and critically injured by a gunman. The suspect in the shootings during an exchange of gunfire with officers. Police say the two officers were responding to a report of a person with a gun late last night when they came under fire. There are limited details about the suspect at this time. But police say he lived in the home and had been involved in a domestic incident with another man. Nine other officers are also being treated for trauma and minor injuries. The Police Commissioner is asking the community to pray for the officers. Hundreds of absentee ballots mailed in by milwaukee s disqualified theres a hearing set for tomorrow to figure this out. Were told more than 600 ballots came in missing a piece of information. The witness municipality mail in absentee ballots require a witness signature and their address, but some witnesses havent been including their municipality. Majority of cases the witness lives in the same house as the voter. So it is not difficult to discern the municipality. But the Milwaukee Election Commission was told theyll have to contact the voters and get their permission to use the municipality on the envelope. Or return the ballots so the voter can complete the information themselves. What was most frustrating to me was it was an elderly gentleman who had cast his absentee ballot and it was clearly signed by a woman who wrote down the exact same address she wrote form itself had the city printed on it so they knew everybody knew which city she was from but it was just a way to trip her up the city of milwaukee expanded their in person absentee voting hours by about 600 percent this year thanks to a federal judge lifting some voting three early voting locations.
