According to our partners at the business journal, the assesed damage of the buildings lit on fire is over three Million Dollars. The city has ordered three buildings be razed including the pjs supermarktet. The other three have a month to come up with a plan for repairs or demolition. Some of the work, has already begun. Weve never seen them before. Three men have been charged in connection with the looting at clarks beer and liquor at 47th and burleigh. Its nice someone is going to be held accountable. The owner, is now back open saying the damage and lost merchandise may be as much as 125thousand dollars. The images, that are heartbreaking but many are still hopeful. You might see jet beuaty as being burnt down but i feel stirred up and i feel believed by the lord to do something about it. This group has faith the city will rise up from the ashes, stronger than ever. We have a new report from the medical examiner. That report confirms Sylville Smith was shot twice. Nearly one week after chaos singh opens up about nearly losing everything. In the sherman park area, ive been there 10 years. The whole neighborhood is just like my own all the neighborhood, block by block, each side. They are all sad. The gas station was targeted by angry looters and set on fire. Three people were able to get out safely. Singh struggles to find the words but his lawyer sits at his sideexpressing his frustrations. I think hes still in kind of reads a statementfilled with both grief watching the neighborhood we love and the business we have worked hard to build, go up in flames, was heartbreaking. The Wisconsin Department of justice investigating an officerinvolved shooting that left one man dead this afternoon. Officials say the officers spotted the 31yearold man who had an active warrant out for his arrest. They confronted the suspect and he pulled out a gun. Thats when officers shot him. Knowing that it was a younger person upsets me, in a way, but i understand that the police have their job to do, and we want them to do their job, thats what theyre trained to do, but the no one involved in the incident has been identified yet. Neither officer was injured. An officer involved shooting that left one man dead last month in jackson has been deemed justified. And the officer will not face any criminal charges. Fox6s Rachelle Baillon joins us from the newsroom now with dramatic audio of the fatal confrontation. Good evening. The washington the officer will not face charges for the july first incident. Authorities are also releasing crime scene photographs, dash cam video and audio from that day. Police rush to the jackson home of a woman whose boyfriend was threatening to kill her on july first. The woman had managed to call police from an office in the home, before the man came at her with a knife. Hes still the wisconsin dci case report says police found the man, 58yearold helmut wihowski, holding a knife to the womans upper chest while cornering her in a shower stall. Dash cam audio captured what happened next. The dci report says the woman told authorities she would have died if wihowski. Anissa weier is in a juvenile Detention Center in west bend. She was allowed to have one wrist freed of handcuffs friday so she could take notes in court. They allegedly stabbed a friend 19 times, more than two years ago to please slenderman, an internet fictional even though the girls allegedly committed the crime at age 12, both girls previously lost an appeal and will be tried as adults. With all the years of publicity about this unusual case, can the girls get fair trials in Waukesha County . Their lawyers say no. Frankly with the amount of publicity theres been i dont know where we could go where someone hadnt heard of it but there may be someplace where people have heard less intense coverage anissa weierss lawyers are requesting that a jury from another county be brought to waukesha to hear entire trial. In the meantime the psychiatrists who will evaluate geyser moving forward in the trial, are new to her, and her lawyer is concerned that more than two years after the crime, with medication she is completely different. Theyre not getting the same picture of morgan that they would have gotten shortly after the event. Morgan geyser is pleading not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect. At this point anissa weier is not making the same plea. At some point, the and each girl will have her own trial. Right now the judge believes those trials will happen in march and april. Officials say there was a fight leading up to the shooting and the victim drove himself to 4th and kilbourn where he was able to flag down a passing squad car. Police say the 65yearold drew a gun, then shot and killed First Responders trying to resuscitate him. Following the shooting, were told the 65yearold turned himself in, and surrendered the gun to Police Inside district six. A Death Investigation is underway after a body was found in milwaukees lincoln park. The medical Examiners Office milwaukee river. The initial indication is that it is an adult man and that hes been in the water for a while. Investigators are still looking into who this man is and how he died. New at nine. A city of milwaukee employee accused of keeping a drug house has been found not guilty. Regina sims works for the department of neighborhood services. She was initially charged after police served a search warrant in september. Inside, they allegedly found heroin marijuana a handgun and more than 300 bullets. Two other people were ca one of them was also found not guilty. The other has been on the run since november. And a warrant is out for his arrest. Authorities say at least 10 people have been conned as part of a skimming scheme. The Sheboygan County Sheriffs Office says a skimming device was found earlier this month on a gas pump at a random Lake Convenience store.
