Police have taken down much of the tape but you can see the house where this shooting occurred is still blocked off. For much of the afternoon, there were two constant sounds the rain and the cries of those mourning the loss of on one of the gloomiest days of 2016. Its horrible, its devastating. Its especially bleak at 51st and hope where a 24yearold man loses his life inside his home. He always left a mark on somebody. You know after you meet somebody, you be like dang, that was a cool guy, that was a cool dude. Alileshia Alicia Hankins says the man, named eric, is a family friend. Police say a 27yearold woman was also shot, her wounds him, you see her. They was a good couple. Hankins says the two also lived with a child, about five or six years old. She says being at the scene brings back memories of when her brother was murdered in 2011. Now its just hurting more. My soul just feels empty. I feel like its no hope. Hankins says the hardest part of this day. Is seeing erics mother overcome with grief. I just mourn for her. Seeing somebody else hurt so bad . Thats what hurt the most. Looking for suspects. This shooting happened right across from Hickman Academy prep school. Officials say they dismissed students on the other side of the building today so they wouldnt be exposed to this kind of scene. The medical examiner today identified the victim and says the family has been notified. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. No suspects are in custody. Milwaukee police are asking for your help in finding a homicide suspect. He is 19yearold devn hes wanted in connection to mondays homicide at 24th and auer. A 46yearold man was shot and killed during a fight. Were told turner lives in chicago but has family and friends in the milwaukee area. If you know where he is youre asked to call police. A Brown Deer Police officer makes her first court appearance. The reason shes in court this officer is herself charged with a crime. Fox6s Myra Sanchick is live at the Milwaukee County courthouse. Devon kraemer was not in custody and is still not in custody. Five thousand dollar signature bond. Devon kraemer walked into a Milwaukee County intake courtroom with no comment for the media. Kraemer is charged with aggravated battery with the use of a dangerous weapon. A row of supporters came to court and sat behind her. This is the booking Photo Officials released wednesday. It all goes back to a day in march that she and a fellow brown deer donna for an unruly passenger on a Milwaukee County bus. A criminal compaint says kraemer struggled with the beligerent passenger while he was face down on the ground. She was unable to secure one of his arms for handcuffs. Kraemer told police she took out her gun and shot Manuel Burnley in the back. Burnley survived but needed several surgeries. The Milwaukee Police department did the investigation that led to the charges. Wednesday kraemer signed a five thousand dollar signature bond next court date november third. Kraemer is on administrative leave. She faces more than fifteen years in prison if convicted.
