A third shooting happened near 86th and hampton. Police say a 21yearold man was shot after two people tried to rob him. The man is also expected to survive. Investigating a crash near 55th and villard involving a stolen vehicle. It happened just before 230. Officials say three vehicles were involved when the stolen vehicle crashed into a van, causing the van to roll and hit another vehicle. The driver of the stolen car ran from the scene and police are now searching for that person. Five people were hurt one in the van and four in the third vehicle. We ended up backing up and then rushing up to the crash site. The passenger and driver in the truck were pinned and couldnt get out. Thats when balestrieri and another passerby went to work. I was starting to kick at the gentleman. We were able to remove the windshield and pull the passenger out but unfortunately me and a few other bystanders were unable to get the driver out. With the passenger safe, balestrieri and others tried to get the driver out safely. I did try to wrench the door off of the driver but he was completely wedged into the door but no one gave up. The passenger kept saying please help my brother finally firefighters would be able to free the driver. I tried moving moving the seat up and down. Balistreri says the passenger seemed to have minor injuries. The driver taken by ambulance but awake. Rescuers went their separate ways and left, knowing they helped two brothers who couldnt help themselves. Milwaukee county Sheriff Deputies were on the scene helping with the crash.
