Milwaukee police are investigating an overnight crash that left two women dead and another two people seriously injured. It happened shortly after 1 near 32nd and hampton. Officials say a man lost control of his suv and struck a utility pole killing two women in the vehicle. The driver and another woman were taken to the hospital. Theyre both in serious condition. An investigation is underway for a womans body was found yesterday afternoon. Milwaukee Police Responded to the 540. The circumstances surrounding the death are under Investigation Police are ruling it a homicide. The medical Examiners Office says the victim is an adult female. An autopsy will be done tomorrow. Cell phone video appears to show a suspect fleeing from the back of a Milwaukee Police van. thats crazy because i thought you cant get out of the inside of a Police Vehicle a witness. Who didnt want to be identified. Says she was in the backseat of the car right behind the mpd van. Her sister was driving. And her boyfriend took this video. She says they noticed something odd a few blocks back. i seen like the door bounce. she says the van eventually got in both came to a stop at the intersection. The door popped open. i noticed an arm was holding it open. within seconds. The witness says the suspect made it out of the van. Still in handcuffs. Bl so, once this guy takes off, where does he go . he just keeps running down silver spring. she says another driver pulled up along the police van and apparently told the officer what had happened. The witness says the vans emergency lights went on and the van turned around in the intersection to peruse the suspect. But by that time. Should god forbid we have any kind of disaster here in the city of hartford, while we run away, these are the flames , who run into the building, who run into catastrophe to help us it was a time to give the First Responders in communities across the country, special honor. Hartford turned out to honor its police and firefighters. Audrey krick is married to a Hartford Police officer. I just think its important to remember the sacrifice that the officers and firemen and firewomen made that day. Its important every day to really think about what they do on a daily basis i leave everything up to god. I cant could happen to him at work. Obviously something could happen. Hes in a high risk occupation, very proud of what he does and his fellow officers as well.
