Right now, Milwaukee Police are investigating after a 4yearold boy is shot and killed on the police tell wisn 12 news the shooting happened just before 6 00 last night at a home near 15th and lloyd. Police say a gun was fired inside the home, and a 4yearold boy named jordan was struck by a bullet. Wisn 12 news spoke with the milawukee Police Chaplain who says the family and community is devastated. Any type of a tragic death like this is horrible. Its horrible for the family, neighborhood, its unthinkable no matter what. Thema there were other siblings inside the home when the 4yearold boy was shot and killed. Police are still investigating exactly what happened and who the gun belonged to. This is the 4th child shot in milwaukee within the last month. On september 11, a 2monthold girl was hit by a bullet during a road rage incident on i43. The little girl survived. About a week later, a 6yearold accidentally shot his 9yearold brother in the back. The boy survived. Police say the shooting happened at a home near 22nd and hadley. According to court records, there was no gun safe or lockbox in the home. Both parents are facing charges. And earlier this week a 12yearold boy was hurt in a driveby shooting in riverwest. Police say someone shot at a car he was sitting in near holton and locust. The boy is out of the hospital. No word on any arrests. Investigators say theyve caught the man whos been holding up local gas stations with an assault rifle. Theyre giving us a new look at one of the robberies. This is new video from the town of norway on monday. It shows a man, pointing a gun at the clerk. The Racine County sheriff says he believes its the same man behind a similar robbery in mequon last week. Investigators have not released the suspects name, because he has not yet been formally charged. Close for months. Heres a live camera near the zoo interchange. Police tell wisn 12 news the shooting happened just before 6 00 last night at a home near 15th and lloyd. Police say a gun was fired inside the home, and a 4yearold boy named jordan was struck by a bullet. Wisn 12 news spoke with the milawukee Police Chaplain who says the family and community is any type of a tragic death like this is horrible. Its horrible for the family, its horrible for the neighborhood, its unthinkable no matter what. Thema there were other siblings inside the home when the 4yearold boy was shot and killed. Police are still investigating exactly what happened and who the gun belonged to. This is the 4th child shot in milwaukee within thet girl was hit by a bullet during a road rage incident on i43. The little girl survived. Police are still looking for whoever fired the gun. About a week later, a 6yearold accidentally shot his 9yearold brother in the back. The boy survived. Police say the shooting happened at a home near 22nd and hadley. According to court records, there was no gun safe or lockbox in the home. And earlier this week a 12yearold boy was hurt in a driveby shooting in riverwest. Police say someone shot at a car he was sitting in near holton and locust. The boy is out of the hospital. No word on any arrests. Investigators say theyve caught the man whos been holding up local gas stations with an assault rifle. Theyre giving us a new look at one of the robberies.
