After exchanging some heated words with protesters that man , that trump supporter, was peppersprayed by one of the protesters. Thats when the fists starting flying, but police say most of the crowd was peaceful as they gathered and marched in the streets. Police sell wisn 12 news that no one was hurt or people we spoke to at the protest say they know the demonstration wont change the election results, but they wanted to show their frustration. Hundreds of people marched to the State Capitol overnight. They held signs and chanted to make their voices heard. Police say this was a peaceful protest. Officers were at the scene the entire time. Some of those protesters said they will continue to fight against trump for the next four protests across the country overnight. Police in portland, oregon say it turned into a riot when protesters broke windshields. Someone used a bat to smash a womans windshield and other vehicles had windows shattered during the protests. Eventually the man jumped out of the car and ran through some trees into a retention pond. He started struggling and two deputies jumped in to help. When they pulled him to shore, the man didnt have a pulse. Deputies performed cpr and saved his life. Now the suspect is thanking those deputies. This was taken hours after the attack that killed 49 people at the lgbt nightclub. Officers were searching the club and laying out stretchers for victims.
