Milwaukee county sheriffs cleared the park and put up the orange snow fences around the park last night. The members of the Community Association are saying it is likely making things worse. The issue is to get out and encourage the people to come out and participate and help to have ownership. The park will remain closed every day from 6 00 p. M. To 6 00 a. M. The second step to keep the peace, a curfew for 17yearold and younger. Milwaukee city leaders think it is one of the reasons that ta curfew was in effect from 10 00 p. M. Emergency crews are on the scene of a house fire at and wright near sherman park. Tim . We spoke with the deputy chief, they tell us that the fire started on wright street at this intersection at wright and 50th. They have encountered heavy smoke and flames coming from the home right there and the home was vacant at the time. They say that the fire was so house next door. There were six people inside of that home at the time. All six people were able to get out safely. They were evacuated. They were not rescued. They got out under their own power. Also, it is too early to tell a cause in all of this. The authorities will be here for the next hour or so and putting out the hot spots here at this home on wright street. The red cross is on here to help the six people that were displaced by the fire. The fire that spread to the home, that home suffered significant damage but not a total loss.
