And George Norry discussing it at various times on Coast to Coast. Wouldn't you figure that 190 s. Not on is the day that the report is finally turned in. George's he's having a great show I'll be in for him tonight my name is Ian Punnett In fact we will get to some of the discussion about the. Report but obviously we don't have the report yet and I'm not keen on speculating I think that's done by many other people on news stations and or opinion shows and I'm just not all that interested in speculating until we actually see what it is that having been said we do want to talk about it and we will coming up with our guests in the News segment we'll talk with Dr John Curtis and Howard Bloom and we'll take 2 shots at that before we get to our main guest tonight which is Jim Carroll and I'm totally geek about that so perhaps while the rest of the world is spinning in circles waiting for the contents of the mother report to be released in whatever form that will take we'll have fun tonight with Jim Carroll and then we'll go to open lines coming up later on and I will say this is there was a certain irony to today I was I was asked to be on a radio show. With a kid named Zack St Clair and I was this was the noon show its little talk show segment that we have on the radio station that I'm the cheap chief operator of well actually also the cheap operator of. T.v. Which is the college station here at Kansas State don't bring up the Final 4 please so all of my teams lost today but literally like all. So we were talking today about bad names and and we were joking around about the names of famous bands and bands in the sixty's and great names for bands and and I concluded my segment by saying if I had a band today it would be named the Mahler report. And what I would do if I had this band called The Mahler report is I would always be in a studio working on an album that never actually gets released and I said to be a great gag. It would be you know I would hire like musician friends of mine to come in and then after a period of time they said you know they're working on the album they go out into the world to do other interviews and they the either talk up the new Mahler report album and go oh my God this is going to be this amazing album or I get other friends to go out and go out it's rubbish it's terrible in never get released it's a terrible album either way I thought the other fun part would be to tease going out and performing live as the mother report but never actually show up anywhere and have the flint you know this concert schedule of the mother report that never happened and I said Of course all of that would be a really kind of a funny idea for a bad today right up until the day that the mother report is released an hour later . It's released and there goes that idea however it does feel a little cathartic we least we have one such as we know about it we'll talk about it next in the 1st news segment in for George Norry My name's Ian Punnett on coast to coast am. One of the joys of doing coast to coast am on a Friday night is when we do a new segment like this I get a chance to talk both with some old friends like Howard Bloom coming up in just a 2nd but also some new ones Dr John Curtis I've heard a lot but never spoken with he's the editor of online columnist dot com and the director of an l.a. Think tank that specializes in corporate consulting and strategic p.r. Strat com is like a serious hot topic by the way at college campuses across the country so you're on the leading edge of that Dr John Curtis It's a pleasure to have you on tonight thank you so tell me what's the idea I tried to find what the ph d. Was in just in order to flesh out fully your bio but I couldn't find it what was that way back when I have a Ph d. In psychology Oh wonderful but I've been very basically a journalist or you know writing you know Proxmire I think you have people reading 30 columns a month it's a normal task but we cover all the major news stories of course. 2 and certainly the psychology piece comes in handy when you're covering human beings of any type as a journalist so we don't know what's in the report we may not know much we may know everything we we don't know what we don't know but what we do know is that there are all sorts of reactions coming from different political quarters on this lots of spin going one way or another What's your 1st take on the fact that the mother report has been turned in let me help connect some dots of the investigation the moment investigation was built off of killers paid opposition research known as . It was fake from the get go was an attempt on her part to discredit him camp and it was orchestrated. Through President Barack Obama and his attorney general will read a Lynch is national security advisor Susan Rice and James Comey the f.b.i. Director all of whom were attempting to sabotage from his campaign to get Hillary elected Now having said that. The context of this this entire Revestive investigation has been built off of this. Phony gossip that was done by Christopher Steele and paid by fusion g.p.s. a Strategic communications firm that was paid for by the Democratic National Committee and the Trump and the Hillary campaign so there should be no major shock right now that they didn't find anything with respect to collusion when we know it would not be them political ads out yeah yeah I think that's what they want to find but we don't know yet right what it says in the report so would you be shocked you know if the if it doesn't even mention any of that stuff now what we do know is all we need to know and that is there's no more indictments being made he's not pursuing any further indictments year old Christian or if I Crump Jerome Corsi all of the folks that the the left wing press and said have been implicated in this in the carious conspiracy with the Kremlin have not panned out so I'm not surprised that somebody like Jeffrey Toobin is absolutely dumbfounded tonight on c.n.n. Essentially saying wait a 2nd you know to all of the the punditry that's out there saying. They're not being indicted you know that's proof pretty big win for the White House on the right one and really what it means is that the fraud that Trump has been talking about for a long time has come home to roost now the Democrats don't want to hear that they want this to be a campaign issue so that it damages Trump throw as much mud on him as you can you know until the 20 twentieth's election but this is a huge undeniable victory for Trump that there are no further and Guy pence here certainly that's what that was the word early but do we need but don't we need to know yet whether And we don't know. Other This could end up being indictments coming from the southern district of New York that it won't come out of the Muller investigation but they will be referred to for example the attorney general of the state of New York or other places that would be because these would have been perhaps state crimes that they might have income uncovered Ok well let's let's put it this way Ok. This was not part of our mandate to investigate every nook and cranny of props finances what the what the Mahler report is saying is if there is no collusion with Russia there is no. Case for obstruction of justice all of the things you've been hearing on leftwing radio and t.v. For the last almost 2 years now what this tells you is. That it's a huge blow to the left wing and or specially to members of Congress who are engaged and there are new investigations like Adam ships and and and others in the house and Jerome NAVL on the Judiciary Committee House and they're going to be very very disappointed with this report and Rod Rosenstein gave a very strong clue as to what is going to be written in this report and it's basically going to be the evidence that is connected with the indictments that were made and no way information provided on the declamations and that means the people that were not indicted it's against the Justice Department rules to name people who are you know who can who won't be indicted not. Criminal indictments you don't want to tar them with that but at the same time there were $34.00 right I mean this $34.00 charges of the come up to people and 3 to companies along the way that's not nothing I mean that's not I mean it may not be as you say it may not be what many people on the left were hoping for but that's not it's also not you know chicken salad either that they got that there was 30 for the people are actually going to go to jail that came as a result of this investigation and companies might still be prosecuted for. I know that that's really something that the left hangs on basically to look over their resolve these indictments but what were the indictments that were processed and diamonds I mean you have Michael flammed a sick lady who was talking to surgery Christly up during the during the transition period well what kind of a crime is that this guy is is basically a socialite Russian you know he's been there for like 25 years of Russian ambassador what kind of crime is that well I don't think there was that I think really it wasn't he wasn't charged with her you know but he wasn't charged with talking to the Russian guy he was charged with lying perjury right. I mean they don't really want that or do nothing but over nothing was plain sailing I mean basically not to just you know say yeah we were talking about a lot of things it really didn't matter but the point is now that there is no substance to the claims on the left even though they will continue to make these claims that somehow there's so much more here that Muller missed they are outraged modeler the last he was going to be the one that supplied this extensive report of all of these potential crimes that were committed and now guess what you know more indictments and the ones you've got were somebody who engaged in. Conspiracy money laundering. 12 years ago in the Ukraine would call a man a Ford and several other people who made misstatements Can you imagine that to an f.b.i. Agent was asking them like Michael Cohen Well when did you complete the Trump project when you stop talking what was stopped in December but we have evidence that you actually went on until June so you get convicted with a plea deal for perjury and as far as the other crimes that you're talking about in the southern district of New York you know there are double jeopardy statutes you've got the main prosecutor federal prosecutor Robert Muller he's banking essentially saying no more indictments Yes there are people that can go on and say oh when I look at his finances I want to look at his tax returns the president that is I want to look into all kinds of things but it's completely strain iest to the investigation of Russian collusion and obstruction of justice those are the 2 main charges that Muller was mandated to look at he found nothing about that no more indictments Well certainly your own says he already has the you're certainly right and that seems to be where this is headed over the next couple of days we'll know more when they actually release the contents of. The investigation appreciate that Dr John Curtis and I know you're accustomed to being paired with Howard Bloom so you won't be shocked that I'll go to him here before we get to the bottom of the hour and we'll get to our guest coming up thank you Dr Curtis Howard Blume. Is a long term guest here on Coast to Coast he and I go back I don't want to say 20 years but close to 20 years on Coast to Coast and he's a personal friend Howard how are you tonight ready and John Curtis got me all riled up well before you go anywhere let me just say I have a confession to you I was in New York or you did let me I know. Let me get the confession outside I was speaking and did a true crime presentation at New York University a couple of Saturdays ago so I was literally like a fly in a fly out and most of the time that I was there I was in my hotel room grading papers but I usually let you know when I'm tired and the last time I was in town was for your birthday so let me just say it wasn't but so but this is. We still don't know and we dust don't know what's in this investigation we don't know yet what the mother report is going to say I'll say the same thing I said to Dr Curtis we we will know more soon and it may be that he's right that this is just a matter of you know this was they were they swung for the fences and they got a you know they got a double and all of this you know sperm and gang was over a double where you had the Howard here's where the ballgame is right now the livery of the Miller for is just the beginning it's the kickoff for a really bitter scrum that may last the rest of the year the left is convinced that Donald Trump has committed high crimes and misdemeanors and they've been waiting for almost 2 years for revelations and the miller afford to give them grounds for impeachment the right believes that the report is the product of a deep state conspiracy to overthrow and legitimately elected present. A conspiracy to pull off a bloodless coup Moeller his right hand man and Weissman James Call me Bruce or his wife Nellie or Lisa Page f.b.i. Deputy director Andrew McCabe and former CIA chief John Brennan have all allegedly been a part of this conspiratorial witch hunt and some claim that behind the attempt to crucify Trump is the arch demon Hillary Clinton who kicked this whole thing off by hiring as John just said the former head of the Russian desk for Britain's intelligence agency m I 6 Christopher Steele to concoct a so-called phony report alleging that President Trump is in blossom or Putin's pocket now that's the conservative point of view but take a close look at this so-called phony steel the Us Yeah you can find it online it looks insanely credible. It says among other things that the Russians have been trying to turn Donald Trump into what Moscow calls a quote useful idiot close quote since at least 2008 Now remember Donald Trump was flown with his wife on an all expense paid trip to Moscow by the Russian government in 1987 a full 32 years ago he was treated like a v.i.p. And shown around Russia's capital city that trip turns on Trump into a megaphone for Kremlin propaganda says the San Francisco Chronicle only 7 weeks after that trip Trump ran full page ads in The Boston Globe The New York Times in The Washington Post calling for in effect the dismantling of the Western alliance what one of reputed dreams of more than anything else a life that may have begun president transfer formants as a Russian asset Ok but if any of that was in the report. Then you know we would they would be more indictments right so if what you just said was true or only there wouldn't necessarily be more indictments because the only crime here would be under the Amal humans' clause but there is more this kicked off Trump's Russian fixation and not long after the 1st Russian trip down Trump began his plan for a Trump Tower in Moscow $100.00 story building that would be the tallest building in Europe and in 2013 Trump took his Miss Universe pageant to Moscow and begs for attention from a lot of reputing But the crucial year for the Putin's influence for Putin's influence over Donald Trump was 2008 the year the great recession when we were all threatened with unemployment and the destruction of our savings Donald Trump and go on through between 4 and 6 bankruptcies depending on who's counting the old over 600 and $90000000.00 and was about to lose everything no bank would lend a penny to anyone not even to their best clients it was the great recession but one of the banks that Donald Trump had stiffed was the German bank Deutsche Bank in fact Trump was in a hot and heavy lawsuit with Deutsche Bank he tried to get his debt to the bank nullified by Q.'s ing the bank of starting the rate recession of 2008 yet Deutsche a bank reached at. And caught Donald Trump before he could fall it loaned Trump $2000000000.00 Why now could it have been something to do with a crime for which Georgia bank would later be punished with a 630000000 dollar fine Could it be because Deutsche Bank laundered $10000000000.00 for Vladimir Putin could it be that $2000000000.00 of this laundered money went to bail out of Donald Trump Ok report tell us anything about these things but see that if what you described there right with the story prosecutor was seemingly would be low hanging fruit right that seems like that would be the easiest thing to prove exactly like you know to to quote John Curtis a moment ago that you know you could easily connect the dots if that were true then all of that would just be that would lead to more indictments but so crime the Deutsche Bank has loaned Donald Trump a real estate magnate money Donald Trump a real estate mogul has borrowed money bankruptcy is common among real estate developers it just goes with the field this is all before Donald Trump was president and so where is. The crime. Well that's it wouldn't that be exactly what John Curtis is asking is where's the crime but didn't happen so there's no crime except there's Russian Donald Trump if this scenario is correct and it may not be but if it is correct then Donald Trump is the biggest Manchurian candidate in the history of modern West. Well you know the people throw around things like Manchurian Candidate because it's very sexy and for the same reason that you know I know that this is something which got said about Barack Obama and we never ever would like to talk in terms of like you know movie analogies I don't know that we really have enough evidence yet what you will wait we will all have to wait until the contents of the report comes out and it does seem like as as others have pointed out it does seem like this is a time when a lot of people on the right get to say I told you so are you not willing to allow them to say I told you so yet there's going to be a furious fight for the next possibly year over to reveal or not to reveal the details of what's in the Miller report and until we see those details we don't have a clue Well what if they just released everything right up front because that's what President Trump has been asking for recently has just said let the whole thing out and I think that lot of people to be fabulous are catastrophic because all right nobody wants them nobody even. The Democratic head of Congress Nancy Pelosi point out that. An impeachment brings us almost to the crisis of a civil war it creates enormous distortions within the country and it's not something that we can easily afford so one way or the other John could be right Dr John Hurt us and all of us on the left could end up with egg on our face but to me it looks like there's something here and what you pointed out that the Miller has very carefully. Given health care to things like The New York. Little have to wait until Monday night no doubt with George's back and thank you Howard and by Rabbi. Jim Carroll next on coast to coast am. News some chill NATO the special counsel's report on the trunk campaign and possible ties to Russia now in the hands of Attorney General William Barr he's not required to make that report public but Democrats like Congressman Ted Lieu of California are saying under oath it's reparation of powers as well as just general fairness and transparency American people in Congress have to write a full report Meanwhile Republican Congressman Chris Stewart of Utah says even if this report shows nothing Democrats are determined their intention and this is been clear for a long time is to have some type of investigation some type of cloud over this president the attorney general has told some lawmakers they may say details on the report this weekend the Dow going into a tailspin Friday plunging about 460 points investors worried over weak manufacturing data from the u.s. So Jim Carroll I once asked a street magician who has a mentalist what the difference was between being a magician and a mentalist and you know he told me. He said a magician tricks you a mental list mentalist makes you trick yourself. I don't know if that's true but us Ok kind of it is true i'm It really is why I just might you know want to you hit me right on the head when you played Allentown by Billy Joel the good life at that yeah but I think learning the steel factory right you work there out of high school or something and you know yeah I worked up I'm still right down in Allentown right out of high school and and when he talks about the us down doing us I mean that song is about me is crazy. Town and I work in a steel mill and then I got married and I end up when I got laid off like the Billy Joel song goes I didn't know what to do so I took my wife's Avon account and went door to door I love this stick in my finger scraps and then steals bikes and when card tricks and and but but let me unpack the I got to practice because I saw you talking about that on the You Tube video right that you took your you you took your wife's you know a bond account basically and you started going to door and you started doing card tricks I'm assuming that's because you use that as an entree to get people to start buying from you yes yes and today I met a magician down and steal when I worked there I didn't even do magic before I went to the still no and he had a magic shop and I would spend like one 4th of my paycheck every Saturday Thank goodness for that because. It would become this and it was an amazing ride I mean it was a lot of fun and I mean I've got a nickname magic on a double i'm still before Magic Johnson. But but when you did so you used magic as an entree in the day to the door to door salesman business when that was still a thing. Yes and it worked really really well I don't know if the women felt sorry for me or like. I said I think came the biggest so many of my guy probably the only guy and then here I am like 5000 shows later what happened was a bunch of women want to do a bigger show with bigger presentation right at these big screens back then it was they didn't look as good as they do today right then on the card tricks and I had to think about a 1000 women and wow it just took off I never thought that would become a career never in a 1000000 years that I think I become an entertainer and then well here you are. Well so so Bethlehem Steel worker to Avon door to door sales person to magician to entertainer in a broader sense you've had a great career Jim Carroll is going to be talking with us until we do have to go to open lines coming up and I but I think in a way like you that that's that part of your career now that I thought was even much more interesting you know you are I mean you're sort of a motivational magician. I mean it's a thing where you're very positive person and you use you know magic now or the mentalism in a different way to it to encourage people to fight memory loss. Death or yeah especially especially the Wounded Warriors going from p.t.s.d. And traumatic brain injury and things like that but how it started was I mean you've got to understand I didn't go to college I mean I went to a community college and I was a criminal justice major and and I flunked out of college I mean I think I in high school I think I was the only one in Europe high school to get an f. Minus one. I didn't do well at all I did I was really shy and backwards I was a different guy back then and now today I'm teaching and I'm helping mit students and it's an amazing ride but let me tell you how it would have. So life was good I was going around the country doing these shows and then in 1990 I got lucky and I told a story to George once about telling everybody to play 2 to 2 on a Pennsylvania daily number that came up and then everybody nicknamed me psychic madman I'm either psychic nor a madman a madman came from the steel mill and sticking my hand and bear traps and then spikes and so I I stuck with that that title and then and then everything happened even at the age of 49 about to turn 50 I had these chest pains I once had a doctor and put me through tons of tests and finally a cardio echo and everything else and they told me I had cardiomyopathy and at the time I don't know what that was like oh is that you goes you get the heartbeat of a 93 year old man I go wow that's cool I'm 49 and I don't anymore good news like I'm not it he goes yeah you haven't and he goes you have an enlarged heart I go what do you go to is the good news I got a big r.d. Those notices serious and I still don't want to take it you know I got it I went home I told my wife I said no more to the States no more Yaakov hotdogs you know liver. I mean I use the like you would believe all this food and so I thought well I'm going to start doing this exercise by get myself in shape here so I start pedaling away on this bike and it was boring as can possibly be and I don't know what to do I knew I had to do this fight and so I took out my playing cards and I started looking through and and started memorizing the cards. And I'm like wow I look down on my bike and well an hour just passed so it was really a good thing to do so I did this every day I would look through my cards and start trying to memorize orders of cards likes like 5 at a time 6 at a time then I put together all these patterns and then I came up with a system of celebrities that is beyond belief I don't know if you know how much you know about memory techniques like no Monex and stuff but they have this thing called One is a gun to issue 3 is a tree for divorce but what's pretty cool but how would I memorize 52 cards and I want to memorize 52 cards I was like my passion I had to do that while I'm on his bike so I took out People magazine and I memorized 100 celebrities of the pie male celebrities that were you know. A listers at the time and like Michael Jordan so I put Michael Jordan number 23 on the list you know Brad Pitt he went on to because Brad Pitt 2 syllables the for Brad to tease and Pitt so I put him in places where I could easily memorize them and that became my anchor system so once I memorized all the celebrities to the numbers it was so much easier to memorize the playing cards because the cards became celebrities all right and then I came up with actions and then I put him in locations on Michael what kind of locations can I put in it like you know people have a lot of these memories guys they put him in a Roman room and different things so you know we can get into that later but I wanted to come up with something really unique so I started memorizing all the countries in the world so I put the countries to the celebrities and like Chris Rock became close to recover and it almost sounds like for Friday it was very clever the thing that I did and before you know it what what I started doing to keep from being bored on a bike became something that was to show incredible and today I called my mental make. Trix is just amazing like the 100 celebrities became a 100 movies began 100 countries and I started memorizing high like 100 digits of pi every day on the bike you know like 314 invited by 5 and I never I mean I'm talking I think I converted short term memory to long term memory so quickly just standing well but but I mean that. I might say well good for you but that's also is just maybe the way in which you're hard wired you have that ability and I who have I play a lot of memory games I mean I play a lot of things where there's sort of brain activity games I do that all day long but I I notice that as you mentioned celebrities like the other day I could not remember Robert Duvall I was trying to just try to describe a scene about you know that actor and I could for whatever reason Robert of all known him for a 1000000 years I could not see his name and so I'm afraid with your system I would probably blurt out like Jack of Hearts or something let you know that because and so that's all I can remember so how does that help that idea of being able to memorize how does it help anybody I mean I get it but I mean I want to know like where does that actually turn into some when the rubber hits the road being able to memorize long lists of things well well explained because now. I'll skip through the story and get right into what I do with the some of the wounded warriors Well yeah not at Walter Reed Donna but does. My my sweetheart friend Elaine Rogers who's the president c.e.o. U.s.o. Metro since the days of Bob Hope I mean she's just a wonderful wonderful gallant and she she was bringing me down there every month and I would set up a class for I'd help the wounded warriors with the p.t.s. They call it some people say p.t.s.d. And then the traumatic brain injury so the one gentleman I will get into names he came up and he goes Mr Carroll can I take your clients I go sure I go I go why do you even ask he goes where the doctor said there's no hope for my memory Well 1st of all a doctor should never tell you that that's not you and that you're right one of my T.'s yet one of my keys to this whole thing is I call it e.s.p.n. E.s.p.n. Is the key to Brain Health getting to where and I don't mean the sports network I'm guessing he. Decides your brain in your body as for proper sleep t. Is the most important for positive positive positive energy and saying something negative that's not help and then end for nutrition so I said Sure you can take the course he comes to the course I taught him the basic stuff the 1st day we give him giving giving everybody 13 celebrities to memorize not a 100 like I did and the reason why I give to celebrities because it's much easier to remember information to the celebrity but you have to put a little effort into memorizing the celebrities so and at these you learned celebrities then you learn the 1st 13 states of the Union and 90 percent of the people don't know the 1st $0.13 states of the Union and so like like if you knew Denzel Washington. It's number one on my list and the reason he's easy to remember there is because Washington was the 1st president then you'd remember that Delaware was the 1st state visualize Denzel Washington crossing the Delaware not watch that you want to make it funny and Gregory's And that's how you remember and Brad Pitt is number 2 on the list so therefore Pittsburgh Pennsylvania is the 2nd state it's a very clever system that I devised really really cool but to make a long story short Brecht comes in the next class and there are about 17 people in the class and I'm like Who wants that and some of the people are like students and medical students and things like that Brant raises than I'm like why get a kidney head right and he named the 1st 13 states of the Union that was so I mean that's that's priceless to me you know I mean to be able to do that so any doctor who says is no hopers memory man with a wrong right there so the 1st thing I do as a reward is I teach you how to count cards all right because that is a very clever thing that I came up with is a very easy system you know like that the movies bringing down the house 21 or whatever it was the book and I think the basic system and so when he learned how to count the cards. What is new form of built up his self-esteem because now he's showing all his body saying look what I can do improve drastically improve his memory the focus and hands of your focus because you have to focus on every single card you're looking at to determine these counts and most importantly in my opinion now it also stimulates neurogenesis in the role plasticity I did not know any of these Yeah yeah I think that's what I really think I think that's beyond opinion I think neuroscience would already be agreeing with you that we can we have the ability to rewire ourselves but it has to be through a kind of a constant intentional kind of therapy like that yeah right it's not just going to be driving around looking at trees you have to like memorize all of the trees and you have to try to get yourself thinking you know sort of exercising your brain that way again. Exactly and what I do is I add I get the passion out of you I don't I don't just show you how to do it I make I make it passionate I make it that you want to do this like if I sat with you for an hour I get you memorize never forget the balls and they I mean it's I mean I get it that you want to do it here I mean it's not like you know I really put a lot of passion behind things and I just love what I do it's is it true that you've memorized the Scrabble dictionary. That's. One of the let me tell you why did that we that you know when it went out when I'm home you know with the family and everything else you know when I'm out on the road I like to play I always like to play board games. And everybody would get mad at me because I mean I didn't see the games but but I had an advantage because of some of the stuff I would do and whether it was like memorizing the Scrabble dictionary and the 1st thing I learned were all the 2 letter word Yeah I think that the right line there were 97 of them not as like 109 like a d.j. Jail a minute as he does is why baby babble What is the thing that I have my memory is so powerful and quick that I can you keep up with it in speech you know I mean that your mind from doing this day after day after day it throws this information that you can't even keep up with it it's just bizarre with the human mind is capable of and all I want to do is get other people to learn this and know that this exists but it's could be you have to work at it it's not you know you don't you don't just take a pill and you have a good memory I mean you really work at it but if you really want to put the effort into it I should and I think I have training classes now I have I have a book coming out of you know it's going to be the books going to be really cool to memory magic and that's actually being published by a major publishing company same Martens and that and in fact you can actually. You ordered a video on Amazon dot com and Barnes So I'm really going to look at I'm going to make this happen there's Here's my year to get thousands and thousands of people who know the secrets of the brain that exist right never knew it could be. Well I think you get to it stronger we days I'm 65. And that's the key because it gives people's memories start to fade and they fade naturally and they fade because of biochemical changes or whatever but you can fight it if you want to and if you intend to and you can do it through you know obviously nutrition although there's been a lot of discussion that some of the things which they had originally thought might make a difference for memory to actually don't right don't always pan out in terms of nutritional changes or homeopathic cures but I mean I think they're always trying new ways but I love that idea of every day people trying to do something and you know whether it's making whether it's making lists of memorizing them your card game technique or some of the other things I think this is really crucial to everybody I wonder too whether you know whether you're familiar with this thing I ran into Once I was working as a chaplain in a hospital and I noticed that there was a lot of seniors who could stay who were there they were experiencing some form of dementia but they could still sing songs and they could remember things from when they were kids and then one of the doctors told me that it really is a matter of like 1st in last out that a lot of things like you know him from when you were a little girl in a church will be the last thing you forget because one of the 1st things you remember do you believe that to be true yeah I really do I think that is and that's what I'm studying you to war I didn't memorise the more I'm applying it to like the brain studying the brain studying all time or something dimension I'm surrounded myself now with some. Brilliant brilliant doctors all around the world like Dr Daniel Amen he as a human clone is we became good friends we went out there we shot some stuff together a memory course and and we talk about all of this and he's the reason syces say hey it's all about yesterday you know and then from hanging out with him and I had to throw in the letter and because he's all about and that really is a nutrition let me tell you some about what's again I'm not a medical doctor but in my opinion I no longer have cardiomyopathy I no longer have an enlarged heart in fact I'm running 5 days a 60 by going to be 66 I run 5 k. Every other day and I lift weights every other day I mean if you exercise your brain your body rush through and eat the right stuff now I'm not talking diet you know I mean once the week junk food and everything else and because I consume this thing called Epic tatic and Ok at the cat again is cinnamon grapes dark chocolate and red wine 5 things that I'm sure all your listeners would love and you know what does your brain has like 100000000000 neurons and they connect with these neurons transmitters and one of them is nitric oxide and and this at the Catechist somehow enhances nitric oxide and what that does to dilate your blood vessels going to your heart which probably help my heart and it will dilute the blood vessels going to your brain which increases the oxygen flow which is so important well I can't be I can't be forgetting the break at the top of the hour so stand by Jim Carroll and and you coming up on the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition is Step aboard for a live after by former lowers happy hour on a yacht enjoy your after hours cocktail cruising under their Golden Gate and pass the city's skyline make reservations for your Jackyl cruise at Hornblower dot com today.
