She makes them out of beads and sends them to police and firefighters to carry with them. They come in many different colors. Ariana says if she knows if a department has lost an officer she will send extra blue and black crosses. The Fargo Police Department received a bag of 160 crosses along with a handwritten letter. She says they will inspire people to pray and will protect the officers. Some of the officers sent pictures with the crosses including this officer who hangs it above his desk.
