You have bill clinton out there, really standing up for his wife, Hillary Clinton, saying the tactics being used by the Bernie Sanders campaign are off the charts wrong. You have bill clinton there looking really desperate. Then you have Hillary Clintons most prominent female surrogates unload on young women who are drawn to Bernie Sanders. I have thought all along Hillary Clinton was in a Strong Enough position to glide through the ups and downs of the early states. She struggled in iowa eight years ago. Bernie sanders is from the neighboring state. The fact she cant be more placid when shes challenged is, to me, the greatest threat to her eventual ability to be the nominee. The teenager testified, in addition to her Mental Health issues, including anxiety and cutting, she had been bullied in high school and has been in therapy and taking prozac ever since. Her bail was still denied. At her bond hearing, keepers claimed she did not kill lovell but did help load her body into eisenhauers car and then helped dispose of it. Eisenhauer, charged with abduction and murder, was a high school and College Track star. Hes not confessed to the murder and said to police, the truth will set me free. According to prosecutor marry pettitte, keepers and eisenhauer came up with the idea to take lovell to a remote location under the guise of a she was waiting after sneaking out of her bedroom window. Eisenhauer and keepers drove to a remote area where nicole was killed before driving to North Carolina to dump her body. Reporter sheryl crow, Kennett High School class of 1980, is back to announce a special gift. Her parents still live in town and drop her off for school. Is this nostalgic, having your parents drop you off at your Old High School . It is but i lived across the street. I walked there every day. Reporter we sneak in the back through the coachs door while students and teachers pile into the gym for what they think is a pep rally. Make some noise reporter then its time for another show of spirit. The today show is here right now. [ applause ] you thought i was the surprise, right . Didnt you . No, actually, we have one more surprise for you that i think youre going to like. A lot. Here to celebrate you. Mrs. Sheryl crow [ applause ] i want everybody to give a big round of applause for your teachers. [ applause ] they use their own money to make sure you have what you need in the classrooms. I want to bring down all the teachers from the high school to stand behind me. Your teachers spend up to 600 or more sometimes a year. We are going to present them checks, on behalf of Farmers Insurance and adopt a classroom. Org, to the teachers of Kennett High School. [ applause ] reporter each of kennetts 36 teachers can use the money toward classroom supplies for kids. What was it like when they called you up to tell you that they wanted to recognize you in front of your kids . I almost burst into tears. Youre getting teary eyed now. I am. Hi, guys. What does it mean to have somebody like sheryl, who has been so successful, come back . Were obviously very proud of sheryl in our community. She does so much for our community. To have her come back and do this for the teachers is just extra special. This is small in the grand scheme. I hope it goes a long way. Reporter i sat down with the rock star who started on a different stage. One thing people dont know is you were a teacher. When i got out of school, i went into teaching and i loved it. I had this burning desire to get my music heard. Reporter crow says her teachers inspired her to do just that. I know these towns are all the way across america, that send kids out believing they can do whatever they want in this giant world. I was that kid. So we have a year joonbook from your time at kennett. Oh, good. Yes, i was a senior maid. That means always a bridesmaid and never the actual bride. Sort of like the lady in waiting. Exactly. The permed hair and all that. 80s. Thats what yearbooks are good for, is the long line of hairdos. Reporter memories of a place that crow says still has her heart. Returning brings the chance to thank those who have meant so much. So sheryl comes from a long line of teachers. Her mother was a teacher, sisters were teachers, and she says, we both have dreams that were late for class. Every night, oh, no, i forgot to grade the papers. Still having those dreams. Its important we support our teachers. Its something sheryl is doing with adopt a classroom. You said 600 really represents something admirable. The average amount that every teacher spends on materials for the classroom. Teachers buy a lot of what anyway, we have to support jenna, thank you. Up next, dr. When folks look at the turnstile, they think their gloves will keep them immune. The gloves trap microbes, as well. Wash your gloves once a month. Most people never wash it, ever. Its true. If you take your cell phones around, clean it. Its dirtier than the bathroom. Almost every study done, this is the dirtiest place. I dont think people do it often. Its simple. Just wipe it down. Keep your hands out of your pockets. The germs in your ss on your fingers. 20 seconds for the hotels. Stay away from the glass in the bathroom. Wipe off the remote control. Put nit a ziploc. So this is a tart . Yes. First thing were going to do is infuse our cream the night before with lavender. Lavender relaxes you and it certainly can, you know, get you in the mood. Do that the night before so that it adds lavender to the ganache. Over here, i have my piecrust. You can make it from scratch if youd like. I love just using storebought piecrust, especially for Something Like this, when the good, dont have to feel bad about that. Its easier. Were going to prick it with the fork. Bake it for 12 to 14 inches, until golden brown. You can be a little festive. Thats cute. I love it. How are my tasters downstairs . Are you in the mood . You know, this is really good. Could you not have been sweet, brandi . This is a trifecta of desserts. I was thinking about you. This is the easiest caramel sauce to make. Add the sugar, wait until it turns this beautiful amber color. Then add the butter. Add the salt because, honestly, its the best part. Itll bubble up, quickly stir it. Keep stirring it until its nice and smooth. Youre going to end up with this. Looks beautiful. Oh, my gosh. I could just drink this. Lets head back here, savannah. Ive already put the salted caramel into the tart pan. If you could add our heavy cream into the chocolate. Into the chocolate. Thats the lavenderinfused cream. It adds a little something. Already warm. I just popped it in the microwave two minutes. Let it sit there and itll melt the chocolate. Youll end up with this. If you want, im going to have you do the chocolate. I thought this was going to be very complicated but it doesnt seem like it. Theres a couple steps that make it worth it. Make it nice and smooth. We have that buttery, flaky piecrust. The salted caramel. Talk to me, baby. This is 50 shades of amazing. Okay. Then it gets sexier. We add this meringue topping. Everyone knows i love toasted marshmallows. I love smores. This is egg whites, cream of tarter and a little bit of if you have a tort, i was told i cant play with fire on camera, but if you have a tort, you can use the torch and get the brown . Seeing Whitney Houston there, it brought tears to my eyes. Very moving. Michael jackson, they showed his performance right here. That was unbelievable. Bruce springsteen first came out, i was confused. Oh, hes there, too. Retrospective. I had the same brought. Theyre bringing them all back. Fantastic. Then i saw Michael Jackson and thought, maybe not. Theyre good but maybe not i thought beyonces costume was a tribute to Michael Jackson. I loved all of it.
