The total project budget is around half a billion dollars. And would be a seven year long program. The number of farms in iowa is dropping. There are now 87 thousand five hundred farms. Compared to last fewer. But the total land. Or acres of farmland are unchanged. National Agricultural Statistics service. The sales class shows low sale farms are getting smaller. While middle scale farms are getting bigger. Sales class is how much a farm payments. Farms making less than 10 thousand acres.
