Were told it happened right around midnight near mile maker 40 on the northbound side in powdersville. The driver was identified as 67 year old william armstrong. Were working to get more information on all of 3 were following a developing story out of the lowcountry where hospital workers in charleston say theyre testing three pregnant women for the zika virus. 3 according to dhec, theyre still testing blood samples and no cases of the virus have been confirmed in the state. The World Health Organziation says the zika virus is exploding in south and central america. Leaders are now predicting there will be 4 million cases world wide by states and the district of columbia are now dealing with the virus.
