An amazing 12yearold named Brianna Lopez from fort lee new jersey who like 1,000 other children in this country was diagnosed with cancer last year. Well speak with bri and her family in just a moment. First, heres her story. Brianna doesnt know what her favorite tv show is but she knows how to spell petechia. Thats what happens when youre diagnosed with cancer at just 11 years old. It was the spots cause d by broken blood vessels, that eventually sent bri to the doctor. That very night, rush ing to th hospital, where she would spent the next 200 days fighting leukemia. Her mother and stepfather both quit their jobs to focus on their daughters health. What happened next was a no holds barred attempt to save briannas life. Her parents shaved their heads in solidarity. Then her grandparents and godfather.
