A lot of them are very traditional like what you could find in a cheesecake. Were working with fun ingredients like Butternut Squash instead of pumpkin, which ill tell you about in a minute. And crackers, the English Version of a tea biscuit. Cheesecake but im using a Butternut Squash. [ speaking Foreign Language ] is any squash. Butternut squash is great. Its really sweet in flavor. So caramelizes nicely. Ive got water. Ill use some brown sugar. The original recipe i use [ speaking Foreign Language ] which is mexican raw sugar. But brown sugar works. You let it cook. Yummy. Yeah, get also a good glaze on it. You take that squash and youre going to puree it and thats what youre going to use to flavor your cheesecake. Theres a lot of flavor happening there. You hit it. When it gets super smooth you guys are so nice. Look how beautiful it is. It gets that texture. Doesnt it look like a beautiful puree . Like a pudding almost. So for the crust, remember i mentioned the beautiful maria crackers. If you dont have them, use a graham cracker. We made a beautiful little crust. Moving on to filling. Weve got that beautiful this is the [ speaking Foreign Language ] theres a recipe in mexico thats been made since foreign times so theres history in your cheesecake. Cream cheese. Thank you.
