You know, we have been talking about how lovely the weather has been here this weekend. Today, though, a little bit cooler and breezier out there. Looks like things are going to continue to trend to the cooler side, bri. It is true. We had a weak cool front move in overnight last night. It takes a while for that cool air to mix down to the surface. Breeze helped with that today. Nevertheless, though, still above normal. We made it into the low and mid50s for most of us. Current temperatures Holding Still a pleasant evening to enjoy. It is back to normal tomorrow. As you can see. Normal high this time of year, 40 degrees. Yo see that mild day on thursday. Up to 55. Our midweek storm. That kind of tells you already, without spoiling the surprise rain than snow. In the meantime, though, you can see this energy that is trying to push in across the south coast of new england. Overnight tonight. And that is the case. It does sneak far enough north massachusetts, through buzzards bay, cape and the islands, and there is a chance that those temperatures drop cold enough as well as that precipitation still going that we could see a little sleet mixing in there. Some wet snowflakes as well. I really dont expect anything in the way of accumulation or causing any trouble for the morning commute tomorrow. Because it is out of here by the time we head into work. 2634 overnight. And then tomorrow, 3644 for those highs. Though after the clouds clear in the morning, we do get bright sunshine. Here is your brief shot at some precipitation. Mainly rain overnight tonight. And then we stay dry monday, tuesday. But this midweek storm system, boy, its been a tricky one to forecast. Here is the thinking at this point. Still, that track trending westward for us. That means mild temperatures. Mostly rain for us. But it does have some overrunning precipitation which means that we have some moisture that is running into cold air. Which does mean that the onset of this snow and ice overnight tuesday into wednesday mainly inland could be the case. I dont think a lot in the way of anything piling up or causing problems. But still something we have to watch. Changing over to all rain by midmorning or midday wednesday and then by the time we make it into thursday, we are not only expecting a whole lot of rain, but a whole lot of wind as well. A closer look at that timeline. Tuesday at 10 00 p. M. , we are seeing some snow that is moving into the western part of the state. And we are also seeing that that is what the pink color indicates here. That could also be sleet, freezing rain, a possibility. That mixes out, though, and changes to all rain as those temperatures get a boost by midday wednesday. And then again, as we make it into thursday, we keep that wet weather around. Winddriven rain is in store for us. Now, i mentioned tomorrow, back to normal for us. There is your brief boost in temperatures with our winddriven rain day on thursday. But those cold temperatures are back for us as we get into next weekend. We will have to brace for that rollercoaster temperature ride, it continues.
