Sad news for four patriots doug fluidy. His parents have passed away. Flutie made the announcement just minutes ago. Dick and joan flutie died earlier today. Flutie says his father had been ill for some time and died of a heart attack in the hospital, and in less than an hour after that, his mother had a sudden heart attack and passed away. They were married for 56 years. In a statement flutie said they say you can die of a broken heart, and i believe it. The most important part of their 56 years of marriage was providing opportunities to their children. They were incredible parents and grandparents, and my family and i will miss them both. O. We are also following breaking news out of dighton. Investigators finding a body in the woods and right now detectives are searching for clues. Brian barnett is live in diton with the breaking details. Police were on the scene most of the day where a womans body was found. The body was partially clothed and burned but the death of her circumstances are still unclear. Police say the woman was 43 or 44 years old and they believe development. Lets not rule out homicide or suicide. We saw the vehicles parked and behind her, behind the car about 15 feet from the car on her back. Do you have a make and model on that car . Not at this time, no. She was partially burned, yeah. You treating this as a homicide, foul play . Were not sure at this time. Its under investigation. Its so unclear whether its a homicide or suicide. Its unclear at body was found behind the Hunters Hill Development here in dighton, it was in an area that was going to be developed into new homes. The police say they do know this womans id but they are not releasing it at this time. They are still trying to determine if the woman died here last night or this morning. Dighton, im byron barnett, 7news. Boston mayor making a major announcement about smoking in the city. Yeah, mayor walsh is buy Tobacco Products in the city of boston to 21. Its part of several changes the mayor is suggesting for the citys tobacco regulations. They include banning the sale of flavored Tobacco Products in stores except for adultonly smoking shops and bars. The announcement comes after mayor walsh cited ordinance in september banning smoking and Tobacco Products at sports venues and event sites. A close call in quincy, police say a stray bullet narrowly missed a woman watching tv in her condo. The bullet shattering a window last night in an apartment building. No one was hurt. Yeah, the superintendent says they first found out about this last week when the inappropriate photos were circulating at the school on kids phones and the situation was so concerning they hen to call the police. Weve taken that very seriously. Reporter the schools superintendent Sheldon Berman talking about a sexting situation at towns high school. Sexting is something that is becoming much more common. We became aware of an incident. We investigated that. Reporter berman says a School Resource officer became aware that inappropriate pics were circulating the school and police along with parents were notified and berman says the situation was handled internally, secretarying not resulting in criminal charges. Were any students suspended . I really cant answer that question because we cant talk about discipline. You can tell me how many students were involved . I cant talk about that either.
