Not even a half mile away and several miles earlier, flames poured out of the roof of this building on main street. Heavy smoke filled the sky. Firefighters spent hours putting out the fire up damaged multiple apartments and local businesses. They came in and told me that i had to get out and up there ws a fire in the alley. Ir trapped on the second floor and evacuated apartments, leaving more than a dozen people without a places to live. Four businesses suffered some sort of damage and a firefighter was treated for smoke inhalatio. No one else was hurt. Rooms dont exist. Rooms exist up we didnt think existed. Its a difficult situation fr the firefighters to go through. To try to find the fire and then put it out. And now as investigators take over, the big question is whethr a number of years ago we had an arsonist in town.
