The shooting happened at 1 30 saturday morning as the crowd was leaving mosleys on bridge street. Investigators found several shell casings in the parking lot. But the victims found a couple terrace. The boston globe reports a 23yearold man from dorchester and a 22yearold man from mattapan taken to the hospital and expected to survive. Heather a man dead after being struck by a car in melrose on lynn street yesterday morning when hit by the car. The globe reporting 51yearold john was pro how longed dead at Melrose Wakefield hospital. The driver stayed on the scene and is cooperating. So far no word on any charges bed just moments before a truck crashed through the wall in her bedroom. That one action may have saved her from bumps and bruises. The driver of the pickup truck lost control after suffering a medical emergency. Went right through the brick wall and clipped the corner of that house in dedham. It felt like the whole house shook. My wife just rolled over to the other side of the bed. When the bureau and everything caved in on the the front of the house, slowed the truck down before it actually hit the house and the other good news, the building inspector says the other half of that building is structurally fine, the utilities including the gas line, are on the other side, so the toners will be able to stay there while repairs are being made. This following a murder in a there. Kay vonheath shot to death while attending that party at a home back in may. The owner rented out that needham home for 1400 for what he thought was going to be a College Reunion party. Ended up drawing more than 100 people. The herald reporting that the chairman of the board of selectman now introducing a that would ban rentals in the last 30 days. So far no arrests in heaths murder. Who hurt two people outside of a historic dedham ballroom. Dedham police say the shooting happened around 1 30 saturday. As a crowd was leaving mosleys on bridge street. Investigators found several shell casings in the parking lot. But the victims were actually found a few blocks away walking on breed terrace. 23yearold man from dorchester and 22yearold man from mattapan taken to hospital and they are expected to survive. Heather a man is dead after being struck by a car in melrose. That man was walking on lynn yesterday morning when he was hit by that car. The globe reporting that 51yearold johnsa electric cas was pronounced dead at Melrose Wakefield hospital. The driver stayed on the scene is cooperating. So far no charges. Jason saturday morning, a woman rolled in bed moments before a truck crashed into her bedroom. That rolling over may have saved her from serious injuries. Suffering a medical emergency. That truck went through the brick wall and clipped the corner of the dedham house. Got out of the shower, felt like a meet they your hit the house, my wife just rolled over, when the bureau and Everything Else went on top of the bed. A couple of lucky breaks for this couple, they say the wall in front of the house, slowed the truck down just a bit before it hit the house. The other good news, the building inspector says the other half of the house is structurally fine and that the utilities, including the owners will be able to stay there as repairs are being made. A man caught on camera setting a church on fire. Coming up the evidence found on that suspect when they showed up to his house. Heather a local man finds a wedding ring lost in the mud for 26 years. A strange man broke into her as fox 25 bob ward found out, Police Suspect this is all part of a larger scam operating in that area. You talk about going into somebodys home, thats terrifying. Reporter Merrimack Police detective scott clark tells me of a credit card scam that saw this man allegedly breaking into a womans home and an grilly tryly to collect mail he says belonged to him. It happened on tuesday after a woman took in an envelope that contained her street address featured someone elses name. Then a strange man came to collect it. She called police when he refused to leave but then it got worse. He forced his way into the house, grabbed the envelopes, never thinking that the that we would be that close and we were. Reporter arrested is this man, 21yearold charles Anthony Washington of new york, detective park thinks washington is part of a bigger ring that has credit cards taken out in addresses. He delivers it, puts it in the mailbox and grabs it right out of the mailbox and hes gone. Reporter most homeowners dont know they receive these packages. Thats because scammers track these packages and pick it up out of the mailbox as soon as it arrives. The trouble comes when the homeowner pick it up first. Thats when the homeowner will get someone on their door to collect the mail. He asks if you get a letter delivered to your home with someone elses name, call any time you get a package, knowing what we know now, contact us immediately because it is most likely the individual is right behind that delivery. Police say these envelopes contain new credit cards taken out in a victims name and ha the scammers turn around and use those credit cards to buy gift cards or merchandise that they can quickly sell. You can see from the video taken on the scene shortly after it happened that the cars were completely mangled. Right here, this car on its roof. It happened just before 11 00 last night on buck island road. Police say two people died a third person taken to cape cod island with serious injuries. Part of buck island road had to be closed down for four hours while police investigated. Right now no word on whether the rain or any other factors played a role in the crash. Because, again, if yesterdays celebration is any indication, todays event are going to be star studded, emotional, and incredible. They are expecting a very big crowd today. So not only security is going to be tight. Here. And because of that, the red sox are asking everyone to take Public Transportation to minimize the traffic jams in this area. And of course asking everyone to get here very early because, again, security will be tight. Now, earlier this morning, i spoke with the very first fan who showed up, Glen Reynolds, he showed up at around 5 30 this morning to be part of this. He brought his home made sign here. Jason yesterday a woman rolled over in bed moments that one simple action may have saved her from serious injury. The driver of a pick up lost control after he suffered a medical emergency. That truck went right through a brick wall and then clipped the corner of their dedham home. I was in the shower. It felt like a meteor hit the house. The whole house shook. My wife just rolleded over to the other side of the bed. Jason unbelievable, a up did of lucky breaks for that couple. They say the wall in front of before it got to house. The building inspector says the other half of the house is structurally fine and utilities including the gas line are on the other side. These are called lightning sprites shot from puerto rico. Sprites are usually weaks forms of energy directly over an active thunderstorm cloud. They only last a few milliseconds. Very difficult to capture on camera. But, again, in puerto rico, they managed to capture these sprites. As far as were concerned, theres drizzle here at least some breaks in the weather. Jacob hall and two others were hit during wednesdays shooting at an elementary school. Jacob dired at the hospital on saturday. His mom and family gathered to remember the little boy taken way too soon. Jacob was an angel brought to this earth to show love, to show kindness, to show forgiveness. Hes in heaven tonight, looking down at us, and hes asking his just like he would have. Jason the other two victims a teacher and another student released from the hospital the day of the shooting. Investigators say the shooter is a 14yearold who killed his father at home before coming to school. Right now facing one count of murder and three counts of attempted murder charges but that will change. Heather police say they do not believe Gang Violence is a reason for the fights erupted in Brockton High School on thursday and friday, eight fights and eight say weapons werent used during any of the fights. Now brocktons mayor is addressing parents concerns. We will not allow the miss conduct of a handful of students to disrupt the learning of over 99 of the students who are there to take advantage of all of the opportunities of Brockton High School. Heather police say most of the fights were isolated. Leader arent sure what caused the violence but do think it might have had something to do getting is certainly welcome after the extreme Drought Conditions we experienced over the summer. For brockton drivers it was a rough 24 hours yesterday. Fox 25 erica ricci reports this morning, when the skies opened up, yesterday it was as if many were getting behind the wheel for the first time. Reporter it was the first real rain fall weve had in months and when it fell yesterday, drivers in brockton acted like it. There were 29 crashes in 24 say were weather related. Fernando pinto witnessed one of them on main street as a pick up tried to pass a car illegally. He says the slick streets definitely played a role. Swiped him on the left side, lost control of the pavement was wet. Swerved to the incoming lane the opposite lane and hit a minivan straight facing. Reporter the driver who caused that crash outside of the spot lounge around 6 30 p. M. Was charged with drunk driving and operating without a license is. One of them on its roof. It happened just before 11 00 last night on buck island road. Police say two people died at the scene. A third had to be rushed to Cape Cod Hospital with serious injuries. The whole house shook. My wife just rolled over on the other side of the bed when the bureau and all of that glass fell on top of the bed.
