More questions remain about what led to this with no apparent motive and police say no recent problems with the suspect before Christmas Day. Stephanie they were found yesterday on prospect height. Two other people were hospitalized. And it forms with incomplete combustion of fossil fuel, natural gas, or propane. We do not know what the cause was of that Carbon Monoxide build up. We dont know for certain, it was Carbon Monoxide although it seems likely at this point. We know two people are dead, two people taken to the hospital. And the people who lived here neighbors tell us was a couple. They seemed to be hardworking people who went about their business, family and friends and barbecues in the summertime. Carbon monoxide is used in treating oxygen, you have to use the oxygen pushed into the body under High Pressure. How severe that Carbon Monoxide poisoning was in the first place. Fox 25 was live on the air last night when the the standoff suddenly ended with the man surrendering and a fire at his home. What lasted for hours on this street in everett ended dramatically in a few seconds. Unfolding. Here you can see swatted officers taking down this man, now identified as 53yearold mark lavoie who finally turneddered. He came out on the front steps and armed and three firearms on his body. Eric it happened before noon when neighbors reported the police shots fired. I heard gunshots going off here before and it was like bang bang bang and i never called the it was boom and it woke my son out of a sleep, so i had to call the police. Eric police say he had three guns on him at the time of take down. As he surrendered we could see his home going up in flames. At one point we could see and the home. When he came out, you heard a boom. And then the house went down in flames. Police arent sure how the fire started but they sentenced it right before he surrendered. Its supposed to be nonflammable, the canisters with he used are nonflammable. Reporter neighbors told fox 25 that lavoie seemed distraught but no question about what may have led it and police claim they have not had recent problems with the suspect before Christmas Day. Eric new this morning, fox 25 is working to get more information about a pair of armed robberies in webster. They happened yesterday evening at a sunoco and a wall greens. The Police Department posted right now on its Facebook Page hoping someone recognized the suspect. The suspect implied having a epweapon but didnt show one. No one was hurt. Stephanie this morning, First Responders from salem New Hampshire are furious, they told the herald, they risked their lives for what turned out to be a hoax and on Christmas Eve no less. Reporter this all started about 2 00 yesterday. About the residence here. There are signs on it saying the building has been condemned. Carbon monoxide is the suspected cause of this death. It can form, for example, when Heating Systems are not working properly. Though, we do not know the cause here. What we do know it certainly caused a tragedy. You cant see it. You cant smell it. And suddenly, its too late. There was a bunch of emergency vehicles and of Course Police and they had the doors open. Reporter christmas afternoon and milford authorities make a sad and troubling discovery, the bodies of two people found inside their Prospect Heights home likely killed by Carbon Monoxide. We heard first that Carbon Monoxide. And then later on when we came back, we heard that it was a propane heater. Reporter the identity of the dead, unknown. But neighbors say a man and a woman lived here in their 30s or 40s. And neighbors confirm it was a a lot of family and friends barbecues in the summertime. Stephanie it was a rough Christmas Morning in brockton after waking up to no power after a crash took out a utility pole around 4 in the morning. Witnesses say the crash caused an explosion right before the power went out. And you can see from this video, the crash snapped the pole. The crash knocked out power to about 5,000 people initially. But National Grid was able to restore power to all about 300 customers before sunrise. And they say the timing couldnt have been worse. Waking up to no power on Christmas Morning is probably one of the worse things you can go through. Stephanie police say the the owner of the jeep lives down the street and he says his jeep was stolen and he doesnt know anything. Eric a woman hit a, paed car on union street last night causing her vehicle to flip over. The street was closed for a half hour. Stephanie a man called police to report he was stabbed at a party on thursday night. Police say a fight started between the man and the host of the party, Roxanne Silva and her daughter leah. At one point police say leah stabbed the man. When officers went to the home to arrest her, police say her mother then hit an officer with a frying pan. Both women were arrested along with another person at the party. Eric the search is on in bolton this morning after Police Say Two suspects robbed someone at gunpoint. Police say two men broke into a attacked someone inside and then robbed them. The first suspect desscreeninged as possibly hispanic with long hair in a bun. With tattoos on his chest. An emergency drug to help those overdosing on heroin is now available in New Hampshire. They say the drug has been used to save more than 3,000 people from overdoses this year. A vet will examine them monday as they begin the road to recovery. But the owner of the animals says thats the same thing she was trying to do for many of them on her property. We would take in animals that were older and neglected. Reporter she said it was a hobby for her son until his sudden and tragic passing. The boy suffered an enlarged heart and collapsed while delivering cookies to a maybe. She says her son often sought out animals online who needed help. In fact, she is said some of the animals only had been with her a few weeks, including the horses who she took from another couple who could no longer care for so youre going to fight these charges . Two people are dead and Carbon Monoxide is likely to blame. Stephanie they were found yesterday in Prospect Heights and two other people were hospitalized. Fox 25 jim morelli is live with where that investigation jim. Says about 200 people per year die of Carbon Monoxide poisoning. And we very well may have had two fatalities here in the house behind us. You can see that there are signs on the house saying that the building has been condemned. It leads you to wonder whether or not there might have been some defect in the heating system. Because thats how it does form from the incomplete combustion of natural gas, oil, or propane. In any case, this all started about 2 00 yesterday afternoon. Thats when authorities got a 911 call. When they responded, they apparently found two people dead in a bedroom. And two others were also sick as well. Neighbors tell us that it was a married couple who lived here. They just seemed to be hardworking people who went about about their business, a lot of family and friends and barbecues in the summertime. Reporter now, the hospital is right down the street. It is milford Regional Medical center. Believe Carbon Monoxide taken. We do not know what their condition is at this point. Carbon monoxide can be easily treated with oxygen, usually given by a face mask. 100 percent oxygen. If the case is severe, they can also push oxygen into the body in a hyper bear rick chamber. They happened yesterday evening at a sunoco and walgreens and take a look at your tv screen, the Police Department posting images on its Facebook Page hoping someone recognizes the suspect. Police say the suspect implied having a weapon but didnt show one and no one was hurt. Eric an investigation is underway in maine, a man in their 20s were found dead in their car on christmas. The globe reports one of the people called 911 around 3 30 a. M. The police are investigating the death as suspicious. Autopsy will determine the cause of death. Eric a man dead after getting hit by a car in New Hampshire. 44yearold darryl kurtner was crossing the street thursday night when a car hit him. The crash is still under investigation, but police say they dont expect to file any criminal charges. Stephanie it was a rough Christmas Morning for several hundred people in brockton after breaking up to no power. The outages caused by a hit and run crash. Witnesses say the crash caused an explosion right before the power went out. And from that video, you can see the crash, again, thats the poll. The crash, knocked out power to about 5,000 customers. The majority of them farm animals. Fox 25 Kerry Kavanaugh went to New Hampshire where the owner said she took in many of the animals while others could no longer afford to care for them. Bryan stephanie the cdc estimates about 200 people a year in the United States die from Carbon Monoxide if poisoning, they call it the aisle element killer, it has no it. Thats apparently what happened here, in this home behind us. You can see the building has signs on it saying it has been it leads you to wonder if there was some deficiency in a heating system that may have led to the Carbon Monoxide to start to build up because it does build up incomplete combustion of natural gas, aisle, or propane. This all started yesterday afternoon about 2 00. Thats when a 911 call came in to authorities, and when they got here, a man and a woman dead in the back room in the apartment. They also found two other people who were also sickened. One neighbor tells us this was a married couple who lived there. They seemed to be hardworking people who went about their business. A lot of friends and barbecues in the summertime. Bryan now, the two people who were sickened were taken right down the street to the milford Medical Center. We do not know their condition at this appointment. Now identified as 53 mark lavoie who finally surrendered. He was armed and ultimately found with three firearms on his body. Bryan it all started jips before noon when neighbors reported to police shots fired. I heard gunshots going off in and it was like bang bang bang bang. And i never called the cops. This was different. It was boom, and it woke my son outo of his sleep. So i had to call police. Bryan police say he had three guns on him at the time of the take down. Neighbors told fox 25 lavoie recently seen distraught but more questions remain about what led to this with no apparent motive and police saying they had not had any recent problems with the suspect before Christmas Day. The Police Department posting these images on its Facebook Page hoping someone recognizes the suspect. Police say the suspect implied having a weapon but didnt show one and no one was hurt. He was crossing route 138 thursday night between the Traffic Circle and windemere drive when the car hit him. The crash is still under investigation. Criminal charges. Stephanie it was a rough Christmas Morning for several hundred people in brockton after waking up to now power. Witnesses say the crash caused an explosion right before the power went out.
