Mark following more breaking news out of marblehead, Baton Rouge Police continue to search for a man accused of exposing himself to try and grab a woman on a popular trail. As we first told you at 4 00 p. M. , the woman was able to scare that man off. New at 5 00 p. M. , fox 25s Kerry Kavanaugh is live in marblehead with reason this incident had so the reporter ock were along the trail right now. Its right next to a school, you see the playground right behind me. Todays 911 call placed this school on lockdown briefly today. I got a phone call saying, peck up my grandson, because there was somebody walking the path, exposing himself. Robert made sure he was on time to pick up his grandson after school wednesday. Police say a woman was walking the section of this trial behind the tower school in marblehead when she was masked man wednesday morning. The male approached the woman, reached out and tried to grab letter. The reporter captain Matthew Freeman said the woman backed away and began shouting for help. She saw him on the bike nearby the fence and he got off the bike and started for her and she said i knew there was going to be a problem as soon as i saw that. The reporter others unthe trail heard her calls for help and called 911. That call prompted police to close off about a mile of the trail between where the incident happened into salem as they any sign of the suspect who they say took off on a mountain bike. Dog walkers, runners and school kids all frequent the old rail trail. The Police Presence and an unexpected site. Today i was going to walk my dogs into the woods and i live on the other side. The owner had a gun and fired police spent several hours searching a local wooded area near a lake. It just so happened that we were here, because we had a second call, so he was very lucky for a lot of reasons. M. , we are following breaking news in bostons back bay. There are major problems on the orange line and the Commuter Rail. From this video here, you can see why. Fire crews are on fleeing an orange line train, as smoke filled the car. This happened about 40 minutes ago, and right now, we know there are severe delays on the orange line and the Commuter Rail. Mark and of course were looking here from sky fox, you can see a large number of firefighters outside the station right now and as you can imagine, the streets in that area are tied up with all the fire apparatus in the area. There is good news, Commuter Rail trains have started running again, but they are going very slowly, so you want to check out they if they take the orange line. You people jumping out a window, evacuating off this train. Tell us more about that. The reporter yeah. It w the t wasnt moving for a while, the doors were closed and next thing you know, theres smoke everywhere. The doors wouldnt open, people started panicking and we couldnt get them open, so somebody smashed a window and we all jumped out. Yeah. No one really knew what was happening, but people were definitely panicking to get out of the t. It was closing and it wouldnt open. Happening as you were not sure how you were going to get off the train. Yes, essentially people were asking the men to pry the doors open. People were screaming for help. We realized the doors wouldnt open, so somebody smashed a window. People were rushing to get out, a Police Officer helped a lot of people evacuate the window. Yeah, so people were coughing, there was a lot of smoke, no one really knew what was going on. Mark when you first noticed this, explain what was going down, was the train stopped at was it like, could you see, breathe it in, was it acrid. The t didnt leave the station, luckily, it just wasnt moving and next thing you know, there was just smoke everywhere. Luckily, we werent in the middle of the tunnel or something. Im just thankful that we were still in the station. Mark eventually, they got the doors open as we can see here. Yeah, eventually, not in my car, we never got the doors vanessa brie, im not sure if you are familiar with the cause, but the t is telling us the orange line train, a motor overheated and that caused the smoke to fill the Back Bay Station. As you exited the window and walked into the station, how much smoke was out there and were you coughing as you were walking through the station as well. Yeah, there was a lot of smoke. People were coughing, it was hard to see and the intersection thing you know, all the fire crew were running in. They were fast to respond, Police Officers, lots of everywhere, so it happened pretty quickly that all of the help crew was there. Mark i was going to ask you if this was an orderly evacuation and from what you tell me in beginning stages, it certainly wasnt, but seemed to have smoothed out after that and everyone you would assume is out of that station area right now, out if fresh air . Yeah. At first it was pretty much chaos, no one knew what was happening. The crews got interest to help everyone out and people evacuated pretty effectively, so i think its under control right crowded. This weekend is the 25th anniversary of one that devastated our coastline and came to be known as the perfect storm. Rising waters a problem, but waves do the most damage as they crash ashore. Meteorologist jason brewer, hes live in sciate now, and jason, you learned about some new technology, that actually may stop the waves from breaking on our shoreline. And beach erosion has always been a problem here on the south shore, and what were trying to figure out is how do we keep the ocean from eating away and biting off the coastline, and taking homes with it. National, state and local leaders met here in sciate today to address coastal erosion and how to best adapt to it as the sea level rises due to climate change. Right now construction crews are rebuilding the towns seawall to get ready for the ocean storms and doubt bring big waves, erosion and potential flooding it winter. But shoring up sea walls is only one piece to the puzzle. I have spoke with state representative jim cant well who feels this is an issue we need to deal with before some parts end up becoming an island. Were losing about a foot every year, a little more now and thats a concern, because that erosion in an area that goes out to a place called hummer rock looks like it could break through, where the ocean isthmus going out. Dph that takes place, well have 60 homes out on the island by themselves in this federal military installation. The plan is to dredge sand from the south river and shore up hummer rock beach. But these wave breaking devices or wads, knock waves down before they can even hit the seawall and another benefit the sand on the other side of these wads actually builds up, so you get beach replenishment as well. You know, kevin, these things have been used to Great Success off dolphin island, alabama. They got 15 feet of sand out of that result. And dramatic effect in jamaica, where in negril, 75 feet of beach was of sand was put in the future for a solution here in sciate. Back to you.
