Rob getting back to you again, you know, we can certainly use the warmup from a fire like that though, it gotten chilly and i understand rain is coming. Ive been to one of those pumpkin chunkin events and its every bit as fun as advertised. We have two opportunities for forecast. First tomorrow morning, that will be brief, by tomorrow afternoon skies are clearing out. A better chance of rain and likely more rain as we head into wednesday and thursday. More on that in a second. In the meantime, temperatures plymouth. 47 in nashua. Warmer at the cape and islands. Temperatures should hold steady and maybe warm up a bit as we head towards the dawn hours. Normally the dawn is the coolest part of the day, but tomorrow it may actually be a little warmer than it is now and heres why. Winds are light but starting to shift around. The arrows show you the win direction and were starting to see the wind blow in from the southeast and the south, its that southerly wind that will begin ushering in the warmer and then temperatures climb into the low 60s by tomorrow afternoon. The catch in that warmer weather does come with a chance of rain, were already seeing a little bit in parts of vermont. Im zoom out and you can get an idea, this is all part of a frontal boundary that showers are tracking off to the northeast. So the rain that will eventually move into western mass is still over here in the middle of new york state. On the tail end of this front is whats left of what was once Hurricane Patricia. No longer a tropical system of any kind, just a big bunch of clouds and rain. Most of that impacting the texas coastline. And that will track along the northern gulf coast for a couple days, and then up the east coast. More on that in a second. But first things first. Here comes the front, looks like the showers will be crossing 91 at about 2 or 3 00 a. M. And then continuing to work their way across the area as we head through the overnight hours. Best chance of rain in the boston area, probably about 8 00 or 9 00 a. M. , so about the time that a lot of people are heading to Church Services on sunday morning. The rain should be very light by the time it get officer to the coastline, were expecting the showers to fizzle out, so probably a tenth of an inch or less in boston. The green areas likely to see rain. Notice its spotty, not everyone will see the rain. You may see a few lingering showers in the early afternoon out at the cape or islands, but the rain should already clear out in foxborough, so no problems for the patriots game tomorrow. In fact by the afternoon and evening hours, as the front sweeps through, clear and cooler weather will start to filter in here sunday evening. Sunday afternoon still mild, but cooler weather begins filtering in as we head into sunday night. All right, down to the cape or the gulf of mexico we go, that bill lit of green monday evening, thats whats left of patricia. An area of low pressure and that area will track northeast, as it does it will drag a cold front and the combination of those two will help to drag some of that moisture, the remnants of that front will give us a decent chance of rain regardless, but a little bit of moisture, whats left of patricia, will give that front a little extra kick, meaning a better chance of rain up and down the east coast as we head into wednesday and thursday. More so in the southeast, but even here in the northeast were expecting a good soaking rain out of this. Timing a little uncertain, but right now future cast indicating wednesday night into thursday morning we could be in for a good soaking rain. 62 for tomorrow. For the pats game, 60 degrees for kickoff, again rain showers should be out of the way by then. So overall actually fairly mild football weather. A little cooler to start the work week, theres that good chance of rain wednesday into thursday. Best part of that 7day forecast, halloween, looks like it will be a treat. Joy good pun, like that play on words. Ahead tonight, a major mess in jeb bush was a very strong governor, probably the strongest governor in the history of the state of florida. He was a young guy and i think there were some folks in the legislature that thought they might be able to run over him. That didnt happen. One tax cut wasnt enough he had to do more. It wasnt enough to have 15,000 kids with School Choice in florida, he wanted to have 100,000 kids. If he didnt like a project, it was going to be vetoed. It didnt matter if you were a republican. It didnt matter if you were his best friend. He said this is where were going, this is how were going to reform state government. every politician comes in talking about making change, and generally theres not much change. But governor bush made he got the nickname if he saw something in the budget that he thought violated his conservative principles, you could guarantee it was he vetoed a bunch of my stuff and i was the senate president. The message to washington, d. C. , is get ready. because there will be change. Nright to rise usa is responsible joy welcome back. Tonight the American SpecialOps Commander killed in iraq this week is back home. His body arriving at Dover Air Force base earlier today, and as Kristen Fisher reports, the circumstances around his death are sparking debate. Reporter both the pentagon and white house are still struggling to explain how a u. S. Special ops soldier can die in a fire fight but not in combat. Its a small but critical distinction because the president promised last year that u. S. Troops in iraq would not have a combat mission. Only a supporting role. To train the Kurdish Forces that are now fighting isis. The pentagon says thats what the sergeant was doing, but when things went south wheeler reportedly ran toward the gunfire to help his kurdish partners and he was killed. His body was brought back to the United States this afternoon. It arrived at Dover Air Force base where wheelers family and carter were waiting. Yesterday carter applauded wheelers actions even though iraq. This is combat, things are complicated. But the story is, as i related it already. This is someone who saw the team that he was advising and assisting coming under attack. Them, and made it possible for them to be effective. Reporter and they were effective, the mission was a success. About 70 hostages were freed from that isis prison. But the pentagon says its important to realize that u. S. Military support to this iraqi rescue operation does not represent a change in our policy. U. S. Forces are not in iraq on a combat mission and do not have boots on the ground. With that said, wheeler will be entitlessed to combat death benefits even though technically he did not die in combat. Hes survived by his wife and four sons.
