A 15yearold boy is hospitalized with multiple gunshot wounds and police are still working to track down the person responsible. Fox25s Stephanie Coueignoux live this morning in Boston Police headquarters. Stephanie, the boy was rushed to the hospital for surgery. Reporter and, again, he is fighting for his life. And we were at the scene 45 minutes ago speaking with police and they told us that tensions are still very high in that neighborhood. And they actually had to break up several fights since that shooting and because they told us it wasnt very safe, we are now here at police headquarters. But i do want to show you some video from that scene just after that shooting happened. 24 is on gavin this is on colony avenue and from that video, you can see it is a very active scene as investigators gathered evidence and information. Now the shooting happened just before midnight. And according to Boston Police, the 15yearold was in a car when someone shot that teen three times. The driver of that car then took the teen to Boston Medical Center again where he is now in surgeon surgery and fighting for his life. To far Police Still Searching for leads, and still a lot of questions at this hour. We do not know also asking police for any information about a suspect or suspects. Last night dozens of family members and friends gathered to vanessa marcottes wake marcotte was jogging less than a mile from her home when she was killed.
