The first calls started coming in of an Armed Robbery and the location of that was 129 liquors on salem police are on the keen with dogs trying to find the suspect. A call short time later of a similar robbery in town. That one was a Convenient Store and the two locations are three miles apart. According to the lowell sun, no one was hurt and one of the clerks had to go to the hospital because she was shaken up. In both cases the suspect was a white man with a gray sweatshirt and a large knife. This all happened as the community was participating in National Night out which is when a lot people are out and about in the community. Robberies were reported to have happened.
