State police say the driver is being held responsible. State police say the driver was treated at the scene but charged with reckless driving. Of the 33 cattle riding in the trailer six escaped the damaged trailer with a few still being rounded up by state police. A veterinarian responded to the scene to take care of the cows. Crews are still working to clear the wrecked trailer from the scene. We now know the name of a man who was hit by a car last week in roanoke. Police tell us 59yearold David Burnley was stuck while walking along orange avenue last thursday. Hes still in the hospital. So far no charged have been filed but the crash is still under investigation. And police have identified the man who died in a crash in roanoke. That wreck happened friday night on pineland road southwest. Officers say 26yearold Scott Blankenship of roanoke was killed. Its that deadly wreck. In appomattox county a driver faces charges after six people were hurt in a wreck. An suv flipped right around the noon hour on route 460. Antoinette jennings, of farmville, is charged with reckless driving and child restraint violations. Troopers say a 2 and 7 year old were sharing a regular seatbelt. Howard hankins has about 43 statues of president ial heads hanging in his backyard. The sculptures belonged to the president s park in williamsburg. The park shut down about six years ago.
