We are following breaking news out of lake county where a Small Plane Crashed in a clermont neighborhood killing two people. The plane went down on crest bridge drive. Two people are dead following the Small Plane Crash in an hospital. It happened this morning near crest woodruff. It was a singleengine plane. The two people inside died. Their names have not been released. Fta and ntsb are investigating the cause, which is routine. A gentleman a couple of doors down was walking out. We were on the phone. I said you got 911. I put mine away. We got up there. I could see the guy laying out and i went up to him first then when i got close, he was gone. We have a crew on the scene. We will have much more on the cause of this crash including more information about those involved on Eyewitness News tonight at 6 00. Traffic is slowly starting to move again on i4 at maitland boulevard after a highway for several hours. Investigators left the scene within the last hour. Our newsroom. Eyewitnesses spotted a drive speeding down the eastbound side early this morning. Maitland police said the driver lost control and slammed in the pole where the sign for maitland boulevard is located. Flames. The driver died on the scene. Name. You can see the tree was on the property next door looking up where it broke. It looks big, old, rotted out. Across here as they work to cut it down, you can see where it went into someones room up there. It caused an amazing amount of damage. Those people were inside the room when it happened. Neighbors across the street heard a loud noise around 9 30. Of bees flew out. There is such a mess they are ended up. While they were busy trying to figure out what to do, the tree we came out here in the middle of the street. I was standing under the middle of it, right. I look up and i hear deep cracking in every direction and it started coming down. Reporter right now we are be brought in. The company dealing with the mess tells me you cant just cut it up at this point. They are worried about the big part up there falling down. Deputies are trying to find the person that attacked and beat an Orange County man. He has a severe brain injury. Sebastian valencia is trying to recover at a local hospital.
