Reporter good morning, this morning for a bomber on the loose. The person responsible for the frightening events here just down the street last night. Windows shook. It was really scary. Then i couldnt hear for 16 minutes out of my left ear. We want to be very clear, the was an intentional act. Reporter the bomb appears to be in tool box left next to this construction. Despite the power of the blast no one was killed. There were 29 injuries here, one considered serious. 24 of these people have been transported to area hospitals with various degrees of scrapes, abragss from glass, from metal. Reporter then, two hours away, police discovered a second device. In what appears to be a Pressure Cooker found inside a plastic bag with wiring and a cell phone attached. The new York City PoliceDepartment Bomb Squad removed the device as bombsniffing dogs searched the area for even more suspicious packages and police at the nyp Counterterrorism Center scanned Surveillance Videos from cameras looking for police and federal agents are also working to see if there are any connections and similarities between the bomb here and a bomb that was set off yesterday morning in new jersey at the beginning of a charity race about 60 miles away. Trump he said, at least on National Security i believe mr. Trump is beyond he is stubbornly uninformed about the world and how to lead our country and government, and temperamentally unsuited to leave our men and women in uniform. Look, i have a lot of respect for secretary gates, worked with him during my years on the Foreign Affairs committee. But hes just wrong. Thats the reason we have so many members of our armed forces that come out to rallies in retired admirals and jones standing with him. Hes broadshoulder leader. He also is willing to speak truth to power. The simple truth is, during his tenure as secretary of defense, he was part of the withdrawing of iraq. And the way that we got without renegotia renegotiating, without leaving any combat forces in iraq created a vacuum in which the isis caliphate was able to rise up and compromise large areas of iraq to this very day that were hardfought and won by the sackry fiegss of american soldiers. So, i thauns secretary gates may not want to hear it. On friday night, mr. Trump said Something Else thats gotten a lot of attention. Protecting Hillary Clinton should disarm and then he said, lets see what happens to her. What did he mean by that . Well, i think, you know, donald trump believes in the safety and security of every american and any suggestion otherwise regarding secretary clinton is just nonsense, i mean the point that he was making, if Hillary Clinton has had private security for the last 30 years she would deny the right of law abiding citizens to have a firearm in their homes to protect their own families. If Hillary Clinton didnt have that security she would probably be a lot more supportive of that second amendment. Lets see what happens to her. The message sounds like a threat or encouraging violence. Thats absolute nonsense. His comment was that if she didnt have that security she remarkable for me. I just joined this campaign a couple of months ago. Martha, i got a lot of respect for you, people if the media are talking about what trump over the last week than the 30 years of the clintons. The fact that her campaign couldnt even be honest about her own health situation, i we wish her well, were glad to see her back on the campaign trail, but decades of dishonesty flowing out. I want to talk to you about some of the namecalling. You said in a 2000 campaign you didnt think there was any place for personal attacks. Are you comfortable with things say, liar, hillary for prison. You know, i have my own style and donald trump has his own style. And i could tell its resonating. Both of our styles are you comfortable with that. I am really. With that namecalling . Things are different here in indiana, people talk differently about things. In fact, ive been showing these on the road. These are the two visions that are up for our voters to grapple with. Hillary clinton and i our vision is stronger together. We put out a book with our campaign platform. Donald trump wrote a book when he decided to run for president laying out his vision and his book is called crippled america. Problems and they know we have challenges. But americans are fundamentally upbeat, optimistic, problemsolving people. Senator kaine, i know you and secretary clinton this was always going to be tight race, in the last two weeks, donald trump has gained ground including in swing states, so what has changed . Were politically very divided and that is reflected again and again in so many our elections. I think, i think we would be unrealistic to think that some people are going to fundamentally change their view. Today, we have opened the doors of opportunity and our economy is in the top ten and people who fought it every step of the way have realized, wait a minute, were better when we let everybody around the table, were actually a stronger state. I have seen that transition work in my state since fighting to embracing it and stronger as result. Thats what stronger together means. Senator kaine, one last question. All through this, i have seen voters say, i dont know which to choose, im voting against her, im voting against him. Its like, i dont like either to the polls, is that a danger. More of a danger for her than his. Because his voters are more enthusiastic. He made an explicit appeal how tight this race is. Its a little unusual for candidates to say it at this point. Lot of people that i talked to, their choice whether or not theyre going to vote or whether or not they trust hillary about, can i trust her . And the trust obviously with the pneumonia question. Very much so. We didnt know about it. Which makes i worse. This is not anecdotal. This is survey driven. 95 of trump voters said they were going to vote and 80 of clinton voters said theyre going to vote. Difference. All things being equaled of course theyre not this year, this is a change election. We dont generally vote for a third term of a party and so, you know, the republicans go into this election with an advantage in terms of where the country is. The democrats go in with an advantage on demographics but theyre having trouble about donald trump has a lower bar. If he can get over the bar of acceptability his chance of being president increase enormously. Should democrats be very nervous in. Absolutely. But i still at this point they believe they have at least some advantage in the Electoral College if they can hold pennsylvania and possibly pick up north carolina. Okay, thanks to all of you.
