Cdc is issuing a travel alert for pregnant women to avoid going there. There are five known cases linked to miami beach bringing the local number of cases in florida to 35. Governor rick scott has already requested Additional Support spraying done to kill the mosquitoes that might be carrying the virus. With the west to east flow, we will have a slight chance for rain before very little coverage developing between noon and 8 00 tomorrow night. Were talking about 30 coverage thanks to an area of High Pressure that is seth up in setting up in the gulf. That acts as a bubble to keep the storm clouds out. We will have a chance for rain. Again, when youre looking at the radar tomorrow, it will be a west to east flow. If tg to t west of you, you know its headed in your direction. The bottom line is, evening storms tonight taper off. The morning low. Tomorrow, low chances for rain before noon and low chances after noon. But it will be the west to east flow allowing high temperatures to about 92 degrees. It is hit or miss. We are in a reverse flow now. As youre watching the radar, the storms are moving from west to east. As you look outside right now on the tampa camera, remember yesterday around this time we were watching the heavy rain now sunshine around them and storms to the north. You can see where the storms are just to the just to the south of the islands. Youre probably seeing lightning from harbor and Davis Islands and hearing a Little Thunder out there. We have isolated storms across Pinellas County and then up and down the i75 corridor. Still, very hit or miss. Im only giving us 20 to 30 coverage with the storms here tonight. And they will continue to press inland and taper off as we through the evening. This pattern continues tomorrow where we will have a slight chance for rain, especially closer to the coastline before noon. And then a better chance for more widespread showers and storms developing right around noon, along the i75 corridor. And then pressing inland. But were still looking at pretty low coverage. So if you want to head out and about around town, its going to be pretty low chances of those showers and storms. And they will be strongest between 2 00 to 4 00 in the things around that, that would be the best bet. But at least as far as the beach forecast goes, theres still going to be plenty of sunshine, even though we still have the chance for rain before noon along the coast. Its going to be very isolated if anything does develop. 87 degrees as the water temperature out of Clearwater Beach. Keep in mind if you see something brewing out in the gulf, it is headed in your direction. The next couple of days, coverage of storms on saturday. 20 for sunday and monday. Back up to 30 for tuesday. Overall this is low coverage for our summertime pattern.
