What sort of evidence are investigators looking for and are discovering right well, i think theyve got two avenues of evidence, each one equally as strong as the other. First of all as i call it, body forensics. This woman, Karina Vetrano in exceptional physical shape. She put up the fight of her lifetime. Her teeth were broken. She was covered in bruised. She was found face down but let she did, there is going to be dna under her fingernails. Heres the issue with dna. You can get dna but youve got to have something to match it to. Until you have something to match it to, its no good for you so im thinking there may be dna under her nails as well as a condom and wrapper was found nearby. Now if there was a random attack do i believe the perpetrator thought ahead to bring a condom . Not necessarily but you ignore it. Also youve got her cell phone. Was there any dna on it . I doubt it. I think the best course of dna is going to be body forensics. Second avenue is cell phone. What the police did from our sources is they went out with special stingray equipment from the nypd, ive seen it brought in all across the country from nypd to help with cell phone collection and they automatically pinged her. Equipment, their specialized equipment from a special nypd unit, that night around 10 00. And i believe that helped them. Now, another thing they can do and ive consulted with telecommunication experts on this is call a data dump. What you heard them just saying is theyre going to look at cell to youers, translation. They can download all the cell phones being used in that area between 5 00 and 10 00 that night. If the perpendicular had a cell they will. And as you said, the police are pretty much at this point saying, it was a random act but they cant rule out anything at this point, right, nancy . Im not telling you have glaucoma. I do think its something you need to keep on your radar. Reporter he has risk factor force glaucoma something that opte opternative may not be able to detect. Examining the eyes and making reporter to doctors who may say this is a dangerous shortcut, what do you say to them. For some of those people who are fighting against this technology, theyre really trying to block access and block innovation. Increased access to inferior care is not a better thing. We have an update on a crash in brooksville, cortez boulevard at barclay avenue. That road back open now. They just opened the eastbound lanes and delays went away very quickly once they opened that road back up. U. S. 41 still closed in both directions just south of bowman due to an investigation that is going on right now involving a shooting, involving two offduty correctional officers. Well have more on that coming up in just a few minutes. In the meantime, while 41 is closed use the sun coast parkway moving just fine right now in both directions. Lets take a look outside.
